Huge Price Changes In TNA Lockdown 2014 Betting

There has been a flurry of action in TNA Lockdown betting at the 5Dimes Sportsbook since I last checked the betting board.

The odds for all the bouts listed on the board indicate that all the favourites have been backed by punters in this time.

Samuel Shaw has seen his odds change from -320 to -1050 (1.10 EU, 2/21 UK) in ninety minutes. His opponent - Ken Anderson - has drifted from +240 to +550 (6.50 EU, 11/2 UK).

The six-man bout featuring stars from Japan's Wrestle-1 promotion going up against three wrestlers from TNA has seen the visitors heavily backed. Their odds have dropped from -400 to -2750 (1.04 EU, 2/55 UK) as a result of this change, Team TNA are available at +1250 (13.50 EU, 25/2 UK), an increase from the +280 they were earlier.

Gunner is the bettor's choice to win the Last Man Standing match against James Storm. Storm is currently a +225 (3.25 EU, 9/4 UK) underdog whilst his opponent is marked up at -305 (1.33 EU, 20/61 UK). Both were available at -120 when the book opened yesterday evening.

Madison Rayne is another wrestler that has been heavily backed in the past hour-and-a-half. As of right now, punters can gamble on her at odds of -2750 (1.04 EU, 2/55 UK). The challenger for the Knockouts Championship, Gail Kim, is available at +1250 (13.50 EU, 25/2 UK).

The two main events on tonight's cards have also seen action.

The team captained by MVP are the likely winners of the Lethal Lockdown match, if the betting is anything to go by. Their odds have gone from -380 to -2750 (1.04 EU, 2/55 UK) in this period. Team Dixie are outsiders at odds of +400 (5.00 EU, 4/1 UK). Earlier today, they were available at -180 (1.56 EU, 5/9 UK).

The TNA World Heavyweight title will remain with Magnus, if the bettors are lucky. His odds have gone from -175 to -600 (1.17 EU, 1/6 UK) since I last looked. He was available as high as +280 when the book first opened. Samoa Joe is currently marked up at +400 (5.00 EU, 4/1 UK).

Another match available to bet on is the bout between Ethan Carter III and Kurt Angle. Despite this match being scratched a few days ago, punters are still backing Angle. His odds have gone from -175 to -475 (1.21 EU, 4/19 UK) with Carter III at +325 (4.25 EU, 13/4 UK).

The likely outcome now is that the bet will be voided upon completion of the pay-per-view.

The above odds are correct as of 7pm GMT. Check the latest at 5Dimes.eu

TNA Lockdown 2014 Betting Odds Changes As Of 4:30PM GMT

There have been some changes in the odds for tonight's Total Nonstop Action Lockdown pay-per-view since I last checked in with the sportsbook at 5Dimes.com.

Here is where the money has been going since 11am GMT:

Samuel Shaw's odds have changed from -175 to -320 (1.31 EU, 5/16 UK)
The trio from Wrestle-1 have moved from -230 in to -400 (1.25 EU, 1/4 UK)
James Storm has gone from +115 to +100 (2.00 EU, EVENS UK)
Gail Kim +500 to +400 (5.00 EU, 4/1 UK)
Team Dixie from +400 to +260 (3.60 EU, 13/5 UK)
Magnus has gone from -140 in to -175 (1.57 EU, 4/7 UK)

The sportsbook is still taking wagers on the Kurt Angle vs Ethan Carter III match despite this match being scratched from the line-up. For what it's worth, Angle is a favourite at -175 with EC3 priced at +135.

The above prices are correct as of 4:30pm GMT and are taken from 5Dimes.eu

Magnus Now Favoured In TNA Lockdown 2014 Betting At 5Dimes

TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Magnus, is now a favourite to win his title defence against Samoa Joe at tonight's Lockdown pay-per-view with 5Dimes.com.

The champion originally opened up as a +280 underdog yesterday evening but wagering on him defeating Samoa Joe has seen his odds go in to -140 (1.71 EU, 5/7 UK).

As a result of this movement, the challenger's price has gone from -400 to +100 (2.00 EU, EVENS UK).

Ken Anderson Now Underdog In TNA Lockdown 2014 Betting & More

The big odds shift in TNA Lockdown betting since I last had a look at the betting board at 5Dimes.com has been in the singles match between Ken Anderson and Samuel Shaw.

When the book was opened yesterday evening, both wrestlers were priced at -120 with the firm. Betting action has now set a definitive favourite and underdog with Anderson now marked up at +135 (2.35 EU, 27/20 UK) and his opponent -175 (1.57 EU, 4/7 UK).

The TNA World Heavyweight Championship match odds also raised eyebrows when the odds were published. Samoa Joe had opened up as a -400 favourite to defeat Magnus (+280) in the steel cage. The money evidently appears to be landing on Magnus as his price has halved to +140 (2.40 EU, 7/5 UK). Despite bettors backing Magnus since last night, Joe remains favoured at -180 (1.56 EU, 5/9 UK).

Other changes as of 6am GMT:

Team MVP has gone from -1050 in to -900.
Madison Rayne has also moved from -1050 to -900.
Gunner and James Storm both remain at -120 apiece.
Wrestle-1 from -180 to -230.

Another shift worth noting that might end up being a moot point is in the Kurt Angle vs Ethan Carter III match betting.

Angle opened up as a -400 favourite and is now priced at -280 (1.45 EU, 10/23 UK). EC3 has been backed from +280 in to +170 (2.70 EU, 17/10 UK).

It was widely reported on Friday evening that Angle has been pulled from the match so this favouring of Carter III may be bettors thinking an angle may take place where Carter gets the win via forfeit.

I don't like giving out predictions when analysing the odds changes. However, I would tread carefully when betting on this match knowing that Angle cannot go.

Betting Odds For TNA Lockdown 2014 Now Online

Wrestling fans can now wager on a Total Nonstop Action pay-per-view after the 5Dimes Sportsbook opened up a book for this Sunday's Lockdown event.

The PPV - taking place from the BankUnited Center in Miami, Florida tomorrow night - will consist of matches being contested within the confines of a steel cage.

The book is taking bets on every match on the card apart for the bout between Manik and Tigre Uno. It's also worth noting that people can currently wager on the Ethan Carter III versus Kurt Angle grudge match even though it was announced yesterday that Angle has been pulled from the show. I expect this match to be taken down from the betting board soon or all wagers will refunded once the PPV has ended.

Here's a look at how the odds opened.

The aforementioned Ethan Carter III vs Kurt Angle match opened with the Olympic gold medalist favoured at -400 (1.25 EU, 1/4 UK). His opponent is priced up at +280 (3.80 EU, 14/5 UK).

The sportsbook is unsure who to favour between Mr. Anderson and Samuel Shaw. Both wrestlers are currently priced at -120 (1.83 EU, 5.6 UK) meaning the bookie is leaving it up to the bettor to decide who should be favourite and underdog.

The six-man tag team match featuring stars from Japan's Wrestle-1 promotion going up against those from TNA opened with the visitors at -180 (1.56 EU, 5/9 UK). Punters looking to back Bad Influence and Chris Sabin against the team of Nakanoue, Sanada and The Great Muta can currently get them at +140 (2.40 EU, 7/5 UK).

The odds for the last man standing battle between Gunner and James Storm is similar to that of the Anderson versus Shaw fixture. The book has laid both men out at -120 (1.83 EU, 5/6 UK).

Madison Rayne is a strong favourite to retain her Knockouts Title against Gail Kim. Rayne is marked up at -1050 (1.10 EU, 2/21 UK) with Kim underdog at +550 (6.50 EU, 11/2 UK).

The eight-man Lethal Lockdown match with complete control of wrestling operations at stake has opened with the team featuring MVP as the chalk. Team MVP, which comprises of MVP, The Wolves and Jeff Hardy, is  priced at -1050 (1.10 EU, 2/21 UK) with Team Dixie at +550 (6.50 EU, 11/2 UK).

The TNA World Heavyweight Championship meeting between champion, Magnus and Samoa Joe is currently favouring the challenger. Joe has opened at -400 (1.25 EU, 1/4 UK) with his rival set at +280 (3.80 EU, 14/5 UK).

I'll return tomorrow morning with a look at any of the changes in these prices.
