Latest Betting Odds For Day 1 Episode Of Raw

With BetOnline offering two betting opportunities for tonight's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, I thought I would publish an update about those markets.

As mentioned on December 21st, the betting website created markets for the Women's World Title match between Rhea Ripley and Ivy Nile as well as one for Seth Rollins' World Heavyweight Championship defence against Drew McIntyre.

Ripley's odds to successfully retain her strap was moved from -5,000 into -10,000 sometime before the evening of December 29th. This is where the selection remains as of this afternoon.

WWE Day 1 2024 Betting

With the Judgment Day member heavily favoured, her challenger is now out to +1,200. That's up from the earlier price I have of +1,000.

The punters have sided with Seth Rollins to get the win against Drew McIntyre.

WWE Day 1 2024 Betting

As you can see above - the Rollins selection, after starting out at -300, has lowered since December 21st and currently rests at -1,000.

Rollins' first challenger of 2024 started out at +200, but is now up to +500.

BetOnline has installed two markets for matches that have been announced the first WWE Monday Night Raw of 2024.

The episode - which is using the 'Day One' moniker that was used for a WWE event a couple of years ago - will see Rhea Ripley defend the Women's World Championship against Ivy Nile and World Heavyweight Champion - Seth Rollins - meet Drew McIntyre.

As of the time of writing, both titleholders are favourites for their contests with Ripley at -5,000 and Rollins at -300.

Their challengers are +1,000 and +200 respectively.

How Kambi Settled Its WWE Day 1 Observer O/U Markets

The most recent issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter - with Dave Meltzer's review of WWE Day 1 - was published yesterday. This meant that Kambi's oddsmakers were able to settle the Over/Under Observer star ratings markets that had been priced up for the event.

The match which received the most stars was the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship meeting between The Usos and their challengers - The New Day.

The bout scored four stars from Meltzer. It went above its line of three-and-a-half.

3.5 was the line set for three more eligible matches from the card. All of those fell 'Under'.

Another line was 2.75. It was set for the Drew McIntyre versus Madcap Moss match. The selection which won for that bout was '2.75 Stars or More' because Kambi's estimate was spot on.

WWE Day 1 Observer Star Rating Results

The WWE Championship match becoming a five-way meant that any bets on the line of 4.25 stars were declared void due to a change in the match participants. The other obvious void occurred with the postponement of Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar, which had a line of  3.25 Stars.

Reigns Off WWE Day 1 PPV Plus Betting Favourites

WWE has just announced that Roman Reigns has been pulled from tonight's WWE Day 1 card after testing positive for COVID-19.

As a result, Brock Lesnar has now been added to the WWE Championship match. This will now make it a fatal 5-way seeing Big E also defend the strap against his previously announced opponents of Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley.

For what it's worth, here are the closing favourites from Kambi's markets which closed at 11PM GMT.

Drew McIntyre
RK-Bro
Becky Lynch
Edge
The Usos

As for the markets that will now be declared void, Big E and Reigns closed as favourites.

Kambi Releases WWE Day 1 Markets

Kambi's oddsmakers released betting markets for WWE Day 1 yesterday.

I first came across the markets last night and had a bet on one this morning. Since placing the wager, the market has been changed.

The Miz was a 7/2 underdog against Edge (2/13). Shortly after my gamble, The Miz was moved into 5/2 while Edge is now a 1/4 favourite.

The remaining markets are still showing the same pricing as yesterday. They are:

Becky Lynch 7/20
Liv Morgan 19/10

The Usos 4/9
The New Day 6/4

Roman Reigns 13/25
Brock Lesnar 13/10

Big E 3/4
Bobby Lashley 9/4
Seth Rollins 11/4
Kevin Owens 17/2

The bookmakers have also released Wrestling Observer star ratings over/under lines for those matches.

Edge .vs. The Miz: 3.5 Stars
Becky Lynch .vs. Liv Morgan: 3.5 Stars
The Usos .vs. The New Day: 3.5 Stars
Roman Reigns .vs. Brock Lesnar: 3.25 Stars
WWE Championship: 4.25 Stars

BetOnline Releases WWE Day 1 Markets

BetOnline has published markets for WWE's next PPV - Day 1.

The WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship will be defended by -250 favourites The Usos. They're up against The New Day, who are +170.

Edge and The Miz will compete in a grudge match on the card. As of this evening, the former is a -700 favourite. A winning bet on Miz will pay out at odds of +400.

Brock Lesnar is a +170 for his WWE Universal Championship title shot against Roman Reigns (-250 FAV).

There is also a market for the currently advertised triple threat match which has Big E defending the WWE Championship. He's -200 while Seth Rollins is +190 and Kevin Owens can be found at +600. Going by this week's Raw, it would not surprise me to see Bobby Lashley added to make this a four-way.
