Answering The Damien Sandow Question

In the few months since WWELeaks.org was created, I've been met with a question by a number of readers. I've responded to them but thought it would be best to dedicate a post to the topic so I can point it out to people who ask me in the future.

In certain posts about Dolphins1925, where I have raised suspicion that he - or his alleged inside informant- are looking at the betting lines I have been asked about Damien Sandow's Money in the Bank victory on July 14th.

The readers that have brought this up to me believe that Sandow's walking out of the show with the briefcase was a shock. And it was.

In storyline.

The feeling is that Dolphins1925, and his informant, had given away a huge spoiler that not even the betting lines could indicate. This isn't the case at all.

I started WWELeaks.org in the days after the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. However, I was watching how the odds changed even before then and still have a scanned image left over from Saturday July 13th.

Here's the prices for the match in question:

For the interest of American readers, the odds for each wrestler are:

Damien Sandow -429
Wade Barrett +400
Antonio Cesaro +1500
Dean Ambrose +1800
Cody Rhodes +2500
Fandango +3000
Jack Swagger +4000

It was evident a night before the PPV that Damien Sandow was an overwhelming favourite to leave Money in the Bank as a winner. It was not a shock to anyone who had been following the betting on the match.

Here's a full copy of the scan, for those interested:
