Title Loss Date Specials Published

The oddsmakers from Kambi have just reinstalled some of their WWE prop markets that were taken down recently. Along with the previously released markets are two newly-published lists where customers can bet on the dates when Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton lose their respective championships.

These kinds of markets were published for previous titleholders, but it's the first time for Lesnar and Orton.

The Brock Lesnar special has nine selections to choose from. They are:

- Before SummerSlam (August 2017) 5/2
- During SummerSlam (August 2017) 5/2
- Between first Raw after SummerSlam but before Survivor Series (November 2017) 8/1
- Between Survivor Series (Nov 2017) but before Royal Rumble (Jan 2018) 5/1
- During Royal Rumble (Jan 2018) 5/1
- Between first Raw after Royal Rumble but before WrestleMania (April 2018) 8/1
- During WrestleMania (April 2018) 1/2
- On the Raw after WrestleMania 7/1
- No title loss until after the Raw after WrestleMania 9/1

If you've been following along, you'll know that I expect Brock Lesnar to carry the WWE Universal Championship all the way to WrestleMania. The odds of 1/2 for Lesnar to drop the strap 'During WrestleMania' are evident that the trader, or traders, are also under this belief.

The WWE Championship market has been priced up as follows. In this, the customers must guess when Randy Orton drops his title:

- Before Money in the Bank (June 2017) 6/4
- During Money in the Bank but before SummerSlam (Aug 2017) 1/2
- During SummerSlam 11/4
- Between first Raw after SummerSlam but before Survivor Series (November 2017) 5/1
- Between Survivor Series but before Royal Rumble (Jan 2018) 7/1
- During Royal Rumble (Jan 2018) 7/1
- Between first Raw after Royal Rumble but before WrestleMania 15/1
- During WrestleMania 34 (April 2018) 10/1
- On first Raw after WrestleMania 34 (April 2018) 15/1
- No title loss until after first Raw after WrestleMania 34 20/1

I've placed two bets on this market.

We know that Jinder Mahal is next in line to wrestle Orton for the title. They'll meet next weekend at Backlash. After that, it could be Rusev - if his 'title opportunity' ends up being for Orton's belt. I doubt either Mahal or Rusev will defeat Orton for the title. Therefore, I've backed the 'During SummerSlam' or 'Between first Raw after SummerSlam but before Survivor Series' selections. If he hasn't lost the title at SummerSlam, I suspect Orton could lose it in one of the Smackdown exclusive PPVs that will take place before the Survivor Series.

It's worth pointing out the potential caveat of a Money in the Bank winner cashing in his title shot and ruining the bet. However, with a quick cash-in last year, I think there's a strong chance the company will have the Mr. Money in the Bank of 2017 carry the contract for some time.
