Universal Champ After Lesnar Update For Feb 17th

There has been a slight change made to the Kambi oddsmakers' betting market where punters can place bets on the next wrestler to succeed Brock Lesnar as WWE Universal Champion.

I previously covered this market a week ago. At the time, Braun Strowman was a 6/4 second-favourite. He has since been snipped into 5/4.

You can view the latest changes in the table below.

Smackdown's Shinsuke Nakamura, who is - and I state this very loosely - technically still in the running as a Royal Rumble winner, has drifted out from 11/2 to 8/1.

The rest of the market is made of up of the wrestlers that will compete - with Strowman -  in next weekend's Elimination Chamber to win a title shot against The Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania 34.

Finn Balor has jumped out from 9/1 into 17/1, John Cena has moved from 9/1 to 17/1 while Seth Rollins (25/1), The Miz (33/1) and Elias (33/1) - who were unavailable last week - are back on the board now that they've been confirmed for the Elimination Chamber match.

Both Seth Rollins and The Miz were 25/1 apiece on January 18th. Elias is new to the board.

A second market - where clients can have a bet on the period where the title switch occurs - is still showing the same odds as last weekend.

The favourite is still 'During WrestleMania 34' at 1/14 with the second-favourite being the option to have a wager on there not being a title change until after the Raw after WrestleMania at 7/4.

Anyone thinking Lesnar will drop the strap during the post-Mania Raw can find the selection at 4/1 while an unlikely 'Between 1st Raw After Royal Rumble, But Before WrestleMania 34' is 20/1.
