Bobby Lashley Targets Brock Lesnar In Rumble/WrestleMania Tweet

WWE confirmed today that Bobby Lashley will be a competitor in the 2019 Royal Rumble. He has just tweeted out the following and I thought it is worth pointing out something that is glaring.

In the tweet, Lashley announces his intention to beat Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.

This follows something I pointed out on Saturday with Seth Rollins aiming for Lesnar after announcing he would be in the battle royal.

Both have seemingly ignored the fact that Braun Strowman is challenging Lesnar for the strap at the Royal Rumble. 

I don't know what to make of it now, but it sure is peculiar to not even have some sort of a focus on Strowman when considering he's challenging for the strap in less than three weeks.

Samoa Joe and Dean Ambrose have also been confirmed for the 27th January battle royal.

    I'm in two minds.

    On one hand, it seems like WWE are trying to make people feel like Lesnar is winning again.

    On the other, I can see them doing this so when Strowman wins, it's more of a 'shock' even though Strowman pretty much has to win, otherwise it's his... 4th... 5th...? 6th? loss to Lesnar?
