8/1/20 AEW And NXT Audience Numbers In

The audience results of the first live head-to-head battle between AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT for 2020 have been released.

AEW Dynamite won the night with a total average audience of 947,000 over the 721,000 that tuned into NXT on the USA Network.

The result means that a couple of Kambi prop bets, that were released for Wednesday night's audience battle, will both settle in favour of 'Yes'.

In the first proposition, clients were asked whether AEW Dynamite would 'conquer' Wednesday night by beating its opposition.

As you'll see in the first table below, the eventual winning selection opened as a 3/4 favourite over the 'No', which was 19/20.

By early yesterday evening, 'Yes' had been cut into 13/25 while the other selection was moved out 13/10.

The second proposition for Wednesday night's TV asked customers whether AEW would win by 100,000 viewers or more. With there being a difference of 226,000 viewers, bets will obviously be settled in favour of 'Yes'.

The winning selection was not a favourite. You'll see, in the table above, that it was EVENS while the 'No' was 7/10 when I first came across the market on Monday.

'Yes' had been snipped to 9/10 by 5PM GMT yesterday, so it looks like the consensus was on the correct side in both of these markets.
