Observer Star Rating Betting Results For Nights 5-7 Of The G1 Climax 30

This year's G1 Climax had its first five star rated match from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer.

The bout of note is the one which saw Shingo Takagi pick up his first two points of the tournament with a win over Will Ospreay on Night 5.

With the five stars given to the match, Kambi has settled a prop market in which customers were asked whether any match from nights five or six would receive five stars or more in Dave Meltzer's reviews of the tournament.

As you can see below, the eventual winner was 6/5 when the market was available.

Ospreay .vs. Takagi appeared in one of Kambi's star rating head-to-head markets. It went up against the Tomohiro Ishii .vs. Kota Ibushi match which came a quarter of a star short of forcing the bookies to pay out on both matches having the 'Same Star Rating'.

The eventual winner, in this market, was a 4/6 favourite.

A second head-to-head was also settled following the release of Meltzer's reviews in the current issue of the Observer.

It saw Jay White .vs. Kazuchika Okada from night go up against the Hirooki Goto .vs. Tetsuya Naito. The former was the winning selection as it had four-and-a-quarter stars while Goto versus Naito was given three-and-three-quarters.

There was another head-to-head which had Tomohiro Ishii versus Shingo Takagi going up against Tetsuya Naito .vs. SANADA. The former was given four-and-a-half stars, but the latter is yet to be rated as night eight's ratings will appear in next week's issue.

A selection of over/under markers were published for the three shows. The lines and results can be found in the table below.
