There was a dead-heat when it came to 'Highest Rated Match of the Night' betting on last weekend's WWE Clash of Champions 2020 PPV.
Dave Meltzer, who published his review of the show in this week's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, gave both the Intercontinental Championship ladder match and the Roman Reigns versus Jey Uso Universal Championship clash four-and-a-quarter stars.
Going into the weekend, Kambi had the ladder match a 7/10 favourite to be the match of the night. The other bout was available at 7/5.
With 4.25 Stars being the highest amount of stars awarded to the bouts on Sunday's card, the 'Exact Star Rating of the Highest Rated Match' will have '4.25 Stars Or More' win as a 4/6 favourite. The other selection - 'Under 4.25 Stars' - was 27/25.
The dead-heat means that 'Yes' will be the winning selection in a prop bet that asked customers whether there would be 'Joint Winners' for the highest rated match in Meltzer's review.
Behind the top two was the WWE Championship ambulance match which saw Randy Orton lose to the current champ - Drew McIntyre. It received four stars. With there being a quarter of a star difference between the matches, 'No' will be the winning selection in the prop market titled 'Margin of Victory' which asked whether or not the highest rated match would be at least half a star better off than the next best bout in Meltzer's report.
The oddsmakers created a head-to-head market which asked which - of the two tag team title matches - would receive the most stars in the review.
Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro's successful WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship defence against Lucha House Party scored two-and-three-quarters while the Raw Tag Team Championship contest was given a quarter of a star less.
The winning selection was 11/20. The option to bet on The Street Profits versus Andrade and Angel Garza beating it would have paid out at 7/4.
Had both matches received the same amount, the 'Same Star Rating' selection would have won at odds of 2/1.
