And yes, it does involve Dolphins1925.

The above graph shows how the betting went through late July all the way to the eve of SummerSlam. As you can see, John Cena was always the underdog in the days before with his odds this past Saturday night being as high as +700 (8.00 EU, 7/1 UK).
The following day's betting made for even more interesting reading and question about Dolphins1925's source
In yesterday's post, I stood down and conceded defeat in my theory that Dolphins1925 was not getting his information from a source within WWE. After listening to the Wrestling Observer Radio podcast, it became clear to me that Dolphins1925 is legitimately getting his information directly.
Or maybe was.
After posting the correction yesterday, I still couldn't figure out why the Reddit user didn't give out Daniel Bryan as the winner in the main event match.
Dolphins1925 wrote that:
WWE Personnel will do anything to ensure I do not go undefeated again. It is my understanding that some of the matches on tonight's card have multiple scripts, including the MAIN EVENT, which to my knowledge, Vince changed on a whim TODAY
Vince McMahon did not change the finish on a whim at all. So, it has made me wonder whether Dolphins1925 source has given up his job as an informant.
For the time being at least.
If WWE knew who had been the leak to the Reddit user, which has been alleged, wouldn't it be foolish for that person to hand out information for the very next pay-per-view? Wouldn't it have been wise to simply lie low?
Pure speculation here but what if the informer had told Dolphins1925 that most of the finishes were being changed through the week and hours leading up to SummerSlam (It has been reported that the company were saying this last week) meaning Dolphins1925 had nothing to go on other than by doing what I had suspected he had been doing from the start.
By checking the betting board.
This could explain why he only chose the three matches with the shortest odds on Sunday night. A look at the graph below will raise more speculation.

With Dolphins1925 being told that the finish for the main event was being changed 'on a whim', it's understandable to accept why he was reluctant to give out Daniel Bryan in his Twitter spoilers.
Furthermore, if he had been looking at the odds - instead of via his usual method - seeing John Cena's odds dropping before bell time may have been enough for him to shy away from giving out either of the main eventers as a spoiler.
In betting like this, it's not irregular for there being late bets made on the underdog.
Ironically, Dolphin1925's Reddit post claiming that the finish had been changed may have played a small part in John Cena's odds dropping as SummerSlam was going on.
