READDRESSING DOLPHINS1925

I've spent this morning listening to the Wrestling Observer Radio podcast and the subject of Dolphins1925 was readdressed. Since listening to what Dave Meltzer said on the matter, I think I should rethink my opinion on the leak story.

I've followed news about the Redditor for months. His 'spoilers' always coincided with who the favourites were in the betting on WWE pay-per-views. One of the factors that made me believe that Dolphins1925 is just a random person posting the winners of each match simply by checking the odds is the fact that his Reddit posts are always published with a short amount of time before the event. Thereby giving himself enough time for the odds to settle and know who the favourites were on the card.

I had blinkered myself in to this theory and doubted that there was anything more to his story. The bigger tale - as far as I was concerned, and still am - is how the odds change dramatically once the finishes are decided.

According to Dave on the podcast, the Reddit user is legitimate and does have his information given to him by somebody within the company. He is firmly one hundred percent sure of this.

The podcast also went on to clarify that - even though it does look like there is a connection between the Redditor and the betting - they are two separate things.

I now stand corrected for discounting the Dolphins1925 story as being a non issue.
