Of the plethora of sportsbooks offering World Wrestling Entertainment betting odds this weekend, only one is giving its customers the opportunity to wager on tonight's NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn event.
PaddyPower.com first opened markets for a selection of matches on the show earlier this month and have added another along the way. There are now five bouts for customers to punt on.
The latest addition is the Samoa Joe versus Baron Corbin match. This opened with Corbin as a 4/11 favourite while his opponent was 15/8.
The punters have evidently gone with the veteran as he is now 5/4. Corbin remains a favourite, but his odds are a more appealing 8/15.
NXT Tag Champions, Blake & Murphy were originally 4/6 to defeat The Vaudevillains. Their price has now moved to 8/11.
As a result of the readjustment, the challengers' price has shortened slightly going from 11/10 to EVENS.
Jushin Liger will make his WWE debut when he takes on Tyler Breeze on tonight's show. The market first opened with Breeze a 4/7 favourite and Liger not too far off from him at 5/4.
The early money first went on the Japanese junior heavyweight as they went from EVENS to 5/6. However, the odds then started drifting back to Evens and now rest at 6/5.
Breeze is now 8/13 but has seen his odds go from the opening 4/7 to 8/11 to 5/6 and so on.
NXT Women's Champion - Sasha Banks - opened as a 7/4 outsider to retain her title with a win. Challenger, Bayley was a 2/5 shot.
Banks' odds did drift out to 15/8 at points, but have returned to 7/4. In the same time, Bayley's came in at 4/11 before heading back to 2/5.
The market for the NXT Championship opened with titleholder, Finn Balor, a 4/11 favourite. Kevin Owens was 15/8.
Along the way, Owens' price went out to 9/4 and - despite upcoming episodes of NXT where he is seen holding the NXT belt (could be a spoiler or a swerve!) - his odds remained stationary until dipping to 7/4 over the past couple of days.
Balor has gone from 4/11 to 2/7 and now rests at 2/5.
All of these markets are scheduled to close at 11pm BST this evening. The show begins at 2am.
If you'd like to bet on any of these matches, you can find them alongside the SummerSlam lines on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page.

David, I see Skybet now have odds available for Takeover as well. No sign of prices of the Apollo Crews match anywhere though.

ReplyDeleteNo problem. I fancy Samoa Joe and Breeze for wins tonight. Had early bets on Balor and Bayley but now concerned after your subsequent posts!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry too much. They could be swerves meaning I have to be the one worrying :)
