It has been six days since I first became aware that the Paddy Power Sportsbook had published betting odds for the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn show that takes place a night before SummerSlam 2015.
Here are the prices as of this evening.
In the NXT Tag Team Championship market - current champs, Blake & Murphy, are 8/11 favourites. The Vaudevillains are now EVENS.
This market first opened with the titleholders available at 4/6. The challengers had been 11/10, so this price change points to fans betting on The Vaudevillains.
New Japan's Jushin 'Thunder' Liger was originally 5/4 to win against Tyler Breeze. The latter was chalked up at 4/7.
The early wagering went the way of Liger as his price went to EVENS. However, just a day ago, both selections were 5/6. This has now changed in favour of Breeze as he is now 8/11 with Liger back to EVENS.
The NXT Womens' Championship market initially had Bayley as a 2/5 favourite to defeat the present champion - Sasha Banks. Her price then went to 4/11 and has remained stationary since Monday evening.
Banks has drifted from 7/4 to 15/8 in the same period.
The NXT Title match market had Finn Balor as a 4/11 to retain. His price has since shortened to 2/7 while Kevin Owens' has moved out from 15/8 to 9/4.
The company will close betting a couple of hours before the start of the show. I'll be sure to keep checking out the prices and give updates along the way.
