Bwin Republishes Night Of Champions Mystery Partner Odds

The bwin Sportsbook has republished its WWE Night of Champions 2015 mystery partner odds for the six-man tag team match scheduled to take place on the night.

Here are the prices as of 13:30 BST:

Unlike Betfair and Paddy Power, this sportsbook has Baron Corbin far away from favouritism.

At the top of the board is Daniel Bryan, who is down as a 6/4 shot.

The most enticing price on the board is the 33/1 for Chris Jericho. He is 10/1 at Paddy Power and 5/2 at Betfair.

Bwin's Night of Champions markets can be found under 'Entertainment' on the bwin Sportsbook's menu.

  1. It would be anticlimactic, but are you surprised that no one is listing Jey Uso? His surgery was in mid-April, and WWE's own article said return estimated at six months; that would be mid-October, but WWE often has its performers (or at least Cena) come back earlier than expected.

If the rumored Reigns/Ambrose split occurs (or they just want to get those two away from the Wyatts), you could transition to the Usos vs. Braun/Harper and Bray against Orton or something.

  2. Heh Dalton... that would be as anticlimactic as Savio Vega joining DX @ IYH: No Way Out Texas.

If the mystery partner is someone who will feud with The Wyatts and put Strowman over, then Kane is a good shout. WWE wouldn't mind putting the mask back on Kane and sell more merchandise.

    1. Oh, I agree, Thor, Jey Uso would be anticlimactic, but I was just surprised he apparently wasn't listed anywhere.

Kane probably is a good value for the reasons you mentioned (bad as the matches might be), but I just don't understand how it fits in storyline-wise; yes, he was burned/kidnapped by the Wyatts when they debuted 2 years ago, but he's more recently been the Authority's Director of Operations and has screwed over Ambrose (he was the one that took out Ambrose and handed the briefcase to Rollins at MITB last year) and Reigns (various punishments on the build to Mania, including the attempt to take him out at the Rumble) more recently than his issues with the Wyatts.

My Jey Uso pick obviously shows my thinking is way out there (and I'm looking for anyone but Kane at this point), but if they want someone to put Strowman over, why not Rhino/Rhyno, the NXT tag team partner of favorite Baron Corbin? He'd get a nice return pop, and his size difference would make Strowman look even more monstrous whereas Kane might even be taller than Strowman.

Don't want to turn this into too much fantasy booking, so I agree that Jericho at 33/1 seems way too high; Fozzy's only listed show until mid-November is October 30 (a Friday), so he should be around for Hell in a Cell and could be taken out on the Raw before the tour.

  3. Yeah, best value bet is probably Jericho.

What are your thoughts on Kana making an in-ring appearance? PaddyPower offering this @ 5,50.

    1. Kana won't be there. It's too soon.

The company will have her 'learning the WWE style' before they bring her up from NXT.
