Here are the closing betting favourites for today's WWE Night of Champions '25 show.
- John Cena
- Cody Rhodes to win King of the Ring final
- Rhea Ripley
- Jade Cargill to win Queen of the Ring final
- Sami Zayn
- Jacob Fatu
Here are the closing betting favourites for today's WWE Night of Champions '25 show.
Here are the betting favourites for WWE Night of Champions '23 as the show was starting.
These selections are ranked in order of strength starting with the wrestler/s with the shortest odds using the betting markets that were available from BetOnline.
Here are the betting selections - for tonight's WWE Night of Champions 2023 - that have lowered in BetOnline's market since THIS MORNING'S UPDATE.
Owens and Zayn
The price for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions to beat Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa has moved from -550 into -600 since this morning.
As a result, the challengers have been pushed out to +350 from +325.
Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair is now a -1,000 favourite to beat Asuka in the WWE Raw Women's Championship match. When I last wrote about this market, the champ was -500.
Asuka is now +500. That's up from +300.
With WWE Night of Champions 2023 taking place later on today, I thought I would do what I always do on the morning of pro wrestling shows and take note of the latest odds offered from BetOnline and then share with you everything I have been able to track since I first began following the wagering on the respective markets.
In the case of Night of Champions '23, I began my daily visits on May 11th when the company installed a market for one of tonight's main events.
Here's everything I have collected as of this morning.
Seth Rollins .vs. AJ Styles
Betting on the final of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament final began a little under a fortnight ago with Seth Rollins favoured by -1,000 over AJ Styles (+500).
Rollins' odds had shortened into -1,500 by May 24th and was taken down further, this time into -2,000, yesterday.
With Rollins moving in, his fellow finalist was pushed from +500 to +700 with a couple of days stop at +600.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn .vs. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa
In yesterday's post, I pointed out that - for the first time since the the market for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship had been created - the odds for the titleholders had shortened because Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn had dropped into -500 from -400. Before that, however, the challengers - Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa - was seeing again because their price had descended from +400 into +250 between May 14th and Wednesday.
As you'll see below, the bookmakers have once again cut Owens and Zayn because they're now into -550.
A decision for Reigns and Sikoa is now at +325.
Gunther .vs. Mustafa Ali
WWE Intercontinental Champion, Gunther, was a -2,000 favourite to beat Mustafa Ali when I first began to follow this market on May 16th. Within five days, the titleholder had dropped into -5,000.
On the other side of the betting, Ali has moved from +700 to +1,000.
Bianca Belair .vs. Asuka
Opening as a favourite, Bianca Belair was -200 on May 20th and has declined to -250 (May 23rd), -400 (May 24th) and -500 (Today) across the week customers have been able to gamble on the outcome of this contest.
Asuka, who was +150 initially, is now +300 after moving up from +250 sometime between yesterday evening and 9AM BST today.
Becky Lynch .vs. Trish Stratus
One of the things I pointed out last night was that Becky Lynch's odds to beat Trish Stratus had lowered from -350 into -400. This is no longer the case because - due to Trish Stratus seemingly being backed from +250 into +225 - the favourite is once again at -400.
It didn't take long for the sportsbook to switch Lesnar into the match favourite. The Beast's prices have been sliding down. I surmise mainly due to Monday's storyline giving Cody Rhodes an 'out' by having a broken arm.
Rhodes, who was first cast as the favourite; with odds of -250, is now at +165.
In a post published earlier, I noted that BetOnline was also taking bets on appearances by Vince McMahon, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre during the event.
You can read about those odds by following THIS LINK
BetOnline's oddsmakers have published three appearance markets ahead of today's WWE Night of Champions event.
The three specials ask customers to gamble on the prospect of certain names showing up at any point during the show.
They have Vince McMahon priced at +5,000 to make what would be his first presence since World Wrestling Entertainment entered into a merger agreement with the UFC.
Next up, they have two wrestlers who haven't been seen on TV in some time with Randy Orton at +3,300 and Drew McIntyre at a shorter +1,000.
The markets can be found alongside the match odds on the BetOnline Website. I'll return shortly with a full update about those markets.
Trish Stratus' odds to beat Becky Lynch - at this Saturday's WWE Night of Champions show from Saudi Arabia - have lowered in a betting market I wrote about yesterday morning.
At the time of yesterday's post, I noted that the BetOnline Sportsbook was offering +300 for a Stratus win. As of right now, the bookies are offering her at a slightly reduced +225.
In yesterday's post, I also pointed out that Paddy Power had been taken wagers on the match for a few days more than BetOnline and had seen punters seemingly gamble on Stratus because her odds had dipped from +350 into +300 (7/2 into 3/1 UK).
BetOnline's market for Lynch .vs. Stratus isn't the only offering to differ from yesterday.
Bianca Belair, who had fallen from -200 into -250 to successfully retain her WWE Raw Women's Championship against Asuka, his now into -400.
The third, and final, market change has occurred in betting on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship final.
Seth Rollins' odds have now been cut into -1,500 from -1,000 as his fellow finalist - AJ Styles - has moved to +600 from +500.
BetOnline has installed two new markets for this weekend's WWE Night of Champions event.
Both are for the women's matches that have now been confirmed for the show.
In the first - Rhea Ripley will defend the WWE Smackdown Women's Championship against Natalya.
As of this morning, the betting firm lists the titleholder as a -10,000 favourite over the +1,000 for a Natalya win.
On last night's Raw, Becky Lynch .vs. Trish Stratus was confirmed. BetOnline has installed the former at -500 with Stratus out at +300.
Those prices are identical to those that are currently available from Paddy Power. However, its market was first published last week and started out with Stratus at 7/2 (+350 US) and Lynch favoured at 1/6 (-600 US).
It has been a couple of days since I last wrote a post about the WWE Night of Champions '23 markets from BetOnline.
In that time, only one market has changed.
With the titleholder's odds moved in, his challenger - Mustafa Ali - has risen to +1,000 from +700.
Here's an image with the odds for all of the matches that are available to gamble on with BetOnline:
Prices correct as of 6:45PM BST today. The latest odds can be found on The BetOnline Website.
A betting market for yet another match added to the WWE Night of Champions 2023 card has been published by BetOnline.
The market is for the WWE Raw Women's Championship match which will see Bianca Belair once again defend her strap against Asuka.
Belair has been installed as the match favourite. She's currently -200 to Asuka's +150.
The two wrestled each other at WrestleMania 39. In that meeting, Belair successfully defended her title through pinfall.
On April 2nd, BetOnline's market resulted in a betting upset of sorts because Bianca Belair won after closing at +100.
Asuka lost as a -140 favourite.
There are also markets for AEW Double or Nothing, Impact Under Siege and NXT Battleground.
It has been a couple of days since I last published a post about the WWE Night of Champions 2023 betting markets that are available from BetOnline.
Here are all of the prices as of the time of writing.
The only market that is showing differing prices from the most recent Night of Champions 2023 betting post is the one for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
WWE Intercontinental Champion, Gunther, has opened as a -2,000 favourite against Mustafa Ali for their match at next week's Night of Champions event from Saudi Arabia.
A market for the match, which was confirmed yesterday when Ali won a battle royal - on Monday Night Raw - to determine Gunther's next challenger, was created by the BetOnline oddsmakers.
They have installed the number one contender as a +700 underdog.
This is the latest offering to be added to BetOnline's coverage of the May 27th show.
The first market, for Cody Rhodes .vs. Brock Lesnar II, was published last week. So far, all the adjustments have sided in favour of the latter who started off at +175, but has recently dropped into -160 since last night.
On Sunday, I published a post noting that the sports betting company had created markets for the World Heavyweight Championship decider between Seth Rollins (-1,000) and AJ Styles (+500) as well as the contest between Undisputed WWE World Tag Team Champions - Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens - and their challengers, Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns.
The latter market has recently changed with the challengers slipping from +400 into +350 while Zayn and Owens are now -600 from -700.
Brock Lesnar's odds have once again been reduced in a betting market for his May 27th match against Cody Rhodes.
The BetOnline Sportsbook - which opened its book on the WWE Night of Champions 2023 event last week - had initially priced up Lesnar as the underdog. However, within a day, both he and Rhodes were placed at -120 pick 'ems.
BetOnline has created market for the two matches that have been added to the WWE Night of Champions 2023 card.
On Friday's episode of Smackdown, it was announced that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns.
As of the time of writing, the sportsbook lists the titleholders as -700 favourites over the +400 for the two Bloodline members.
Also on Smackdown, AJ Styles was confirmed as Smackdown's representative in the tournament final to crown a new heavyweight champion.
Seth Rollins, the other finalist, is a -1,000 favourite. A victory for Styles will pay out at odds of +500.
Earlier this week, I noted that the market for Brock Lesnar .vs. Cody Rhodes has seen Lesnar's odds fall into -120 from +175 while Rhodes' has risen to -120 from -250.
Those prices remain stationary.
WWE Night of Champions 2023 will take place from Saudi Arabia on May 27th.
BetOnline's market for the Cody Rhodes .vs. Brock Lesnar match set for WWE Night of Champions now has both men at -120 pick 'em.
In yesterday's post, I noted that the sportsbook had published the market with Lesnar the underdog despite being favoured in a book created by Paddy Power.
Lesnar's odds have reduced from +175 while Rhodes' have been pushed up from -250.
Seth Rollins has become the betting favourite to be the first winner of WWE's newest title.
BetOnline has recently installed a market which allows its customers to gamble on the wrestler they believe will win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship; which was unveiled by Paul Levesque on last week's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.
Cody Rhodes was installed as BetOnline's early favourite. However, his odds have drifted out from -120 to +160 due to the punters siding with Rollins.
The current -200 favourite had started at +120.
Two other selections have drifted out, following Rollins' price being reduced, with both Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens both moving up from +300 to +325 in the few hours since betting commenced.
With the Undisputed WWE World Tag Team Champions unlikely to be available for the tournament final, it's understandable to see their respective odds increased.
There are fifteen selections currently available with Randy Orton given the longer odds at a price of +2,500.
The new titleholder will be crowned at WWE Night of Champions, which will emanate from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Saturday May 27th.
