Betfair Publishes More Night Of Champions 2015 Markets

The Betfair Sportsbook has published more markets for wrestling fans to wager on this Sunday's Night of Champions 2015 pay-per-view.

Customers of the betting firm now have the opportunity to bet on the pre-show match. They can also take a stab at some of the company's prop bets that have become a regular Betfair offering.

The kick off match market lists The Cosmic Wasteland as 8/13 favourites. Their opponents - Neville & The Lucha Dragons - are 23/20.

The first of the newest prop markets is offering 4/6 odds on a referee being knocked down at any point in the night.

I have been all over the 'Yes' on this in recent months. It finally cashed in at SummerSlam. I'm going the other way this month as I like the 'No' at 11/10.

Prop number two of the evening asks will 'Any title match end in a disqualification?'

The 'Yes' is 4/6 and the 'No' is 11/10.

I think the 'Yes' is a decent shout here as I can see one of the bouts ending in this way just to keep the titles around the champions' waist. For example, the Dudley Boyz might win the match, but not the WWE World Tag Team Championship so as to keep the feud going. I'm also still holding a thin slice of hope that Sting will win against Seth Rollins as I had a bet on him when odds were first published. A win via DQ will suit me.

This leads to another prop bet that has a bearing on a championship and it is 'Will the Money in the Bank contract be cashed in on the night?'

The 'No' has been given the shorter price at 4/7 and I cannot argue with that one. I think it has been teased a lot the past few weeks. Wrestling 101 would indicate that it isn't going to happen just yet.

If you believe that Sheamus will cash in, and he does, you'll be paid out at odds of 5/4.

Finally, there is a specials market where punters can bet on wrestling celebrities making appearances on the night. For these wagers to be successful, the person - or persons - have to be seen at ringside for betting slips to be cashed.

Below is the list along with some thoughts on the names.

Some of the runners near the top of the list make complete sense. Ric Flair is a good shout considering Charlotte will be challenging for the WWE Divas Championship. He had been with her when she 'won' it on Monday before the result was reversed to being a disqualification. If the company does decide to finally go all-in on a Charlotte win, it makes sense for Flair to be once again by her side to celebrate.

Kane at 10/11 is another one that interests me. He's due a return sooner or later.

If Randy Orton isn't going to be the third member of the trio to battle The Wyatts, I doubt he'll be on the show. Same goes with 'Either Uso Brother'.

Eric Bischoff is interesting as he is going to be on the WWE Network this coming Monday. Could he brought to the PPV to hype up this appearance? Jim Ross is in Houston doing one of his talk shows. I highly doubt he'll be at ringside during the WWE show, but 14/1 might attract some.

If you'd like to bet on these or any of the other Night of Champions 2015 markets, you'll be able to find them listed in the 'Special Bets' section of the Betfair website.
