There are three sportsbooks offering customers the opportunity to have side wagers on tonight's event. They are Bwin, Betfair and Paddy Power.
Will The Money in the Bank Contract Be Cashed In?
This is available from both bwin and Betfair. The bwin Sportsbook is offering its customers 'Yes' at 5/4 and 'No' is 57/100.
Betfair's 'Yes' is also 5/4. The 'No' is 4/7.
My opinion on this is 'No'. As noted in previous posts, the company has been teasing the possibility that Sheamus will cash in. This is usually a sign that it isn't going to happen. Not yet, anyway.
Who Will be the Mystery Partner?
This market is available at bwin, Paddy Power and Betfair. Here are the prices as of the time of publishing:
Bwin's WWE NOC Mystery Man Odds |
Paddy Power's WWE NOC Mystery Man Odds |
Betfair's WWE NOC Mystery Man Odds |
As you can see, Baron Corbin is favourite to be revealed as Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns' partner at two of the sportsbooks. This is due to a fake a leak that had circulated across the Internet a few weeks ago
With the huge betting swings now pointing to a Wyatt Family victory, it's safe to rule out a huge name like The Rock.
I also doubt they'll bring Daniel Bryan back to lose. On second thoughts..
I have been leaning on Chris Jericho and took him when he was 33/1 with bwin.
Kana Appearance
Paddy Power had installed odds for customers to wager on WWE's latest signing - Kana - to make an appearance inside the ring at Night of Champions.
The earliest prices I have are 'Yes' at 7/2 and 'No' 1/6. As of today, the 'Yes' is 9/2 and 'No' is 1/8.
I'm with the 'No' party. There is no reason why she should be there tonight as her first role in the company is to work at NXT for the time being.
A Referee To Be Knocked Out In Any Match?
Betfair is offering this market. The 'Yes' is 6/4 and the 'No' is 11/10.
For the past few months, I had been leaned on the 'Yes' and this finally paid out last month at SummerSlam. Initially, I guessed it would be 'No' this month. I'm back to thinking it'll be 'Yes'.
Any Title Match to End in a DQ
This Betfair market opened with 'Yes' 4/6 and 'No' 11/10. The 'Yes' has evidently been wagered on as it's now 8/15 while the 'No' is 11/8.
I'm with the Yes Men and Women. I can definitely see a titleholder losing, but keeping their strap.
Seth Rollins to Retain Both Titles
This is being offered to bwin customers. The odds were originally EVENS, but are now out at 10/1. The change is more than likely due to John Cena's odds taking a hammering.
Live In-House Appearances
The Betfair Sportsbook has compiled a long list of personalities that have been associated with WWE in some form or another and have published odds. The company will pay out on any of these names if they make an appearance at ringside tonight.
The odds as of the time of publishing are:
Here are some of the changes that have taken place since the odds were first installed:
- Kane has gone from 10/11 to 1/2
- Chris Jericho's price has dipped from 5/2
- Either Uso's odds have jumped from 10/1
- Mick Foley's price had been 20/1
- Ronda Rousey has also leaped from 20/1
- CM Punks odds were 66/1
As per usual, I'll have a post in a few days where I look at how the markets were settled.
If you're looking to open a betting account to place bets on any of these markets, there are links below to take advantage of the new customer deals being offered by the three firms. You first bet might qualify to trigger the bonuses below (this obviously depends on the odds you're taking so it's best to read the terms beforehand).
