The Betfair Sportsbook has installed some prop bet markets in time for the WWE Hell in a Cell 2015 pay-per-view that takes place on October 25th.
As of the time of publishing, there are four propositions for customers to ponder. More will be added in time for the PPV.
The first prop on the board asks the punter 'Will the Money in the Bank contract be cashed in on the night?' The odds for 'Yes' are 7/5 with 'No' chalked up at 1/2.
It's interesting in that the stipulation of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match means that, if Demon Kane is unable to beat Seth Rollins, Corporate Kane will lose his job.
I cannot see this happening myself, but - what if Kane does win the title and then Sheamus cashes in his immediate title shot?
Another way around saving Corporate Kane's job is to have him win via disqualification. Therefore, the strap remains with Seth Rollins. This leads nicely to another prop on the board:
'Any match to end in a disqualification?'
The 'Yes' has been given favourable odds of 4/6 with the 'No' being offered at 11/10. With this bet, you aren't restricted to the above title match, or any championship bout for that matter. If a DQ occurs at any point, you're a winner.
A referee being knocked down is a trope associated with pro wrestling. The Betfair traders like to offer this prop on a frequent basis. For Hell in a Cell, the 'Yes, a referee will be knocked down in any match' is favourite at 4/7 with the 'No' out at 5/4.
I think we're due another one soon. I bet you've seen me write that before.
The final market as of right now (there are more coming!) concerns the WWE World Tag Team Championship match. It allows the punter to bet on 'All three members of The New Day to be put through tables'.
I like this one a lot. Realistically, The Dudleys should end up getting to put the trio through tables somewhere. I'm unsure whether the HIAC show is the moment but the 5/2 for a speculative punt might be worth a shot.
I aim to publish another few posts looking at the prop markets closer to the show, so keep an eye out for it.
Betfair's WWE prop markets can be found alongside regular match odds under 'USA' in the 'Special Bets' section of the Betfair website.
It's not like Kane promised to set himself on fire if he doesn't win the match :)
ReplyDeleteI already placed max units on Rollins winning the match @ 1,40, another bet on him retaining the title @ 1,50, and of course Sheamus not cashing in @ 2,10.
A Kane loss makes sense to me, considering how strong he's been booked on TV. If Rollins is set to feud with Triple H, then it's best to move Kane away from The Authority. Kane teaming with his brother this week in Mexico could also be a prelude of things to come.
Owens been losing to Ryback via DQ (eyepoke) on houseshows, would not be surprised to see the same finish on TV.
