Bwin's Royal Rumble 2016 Odds (October Update)

Over the past few weeks, I have made an effort to go through the 2016 Royal Rumble odds that have been available for wrestling fans to bet on at numerous online sportsbooks. I have compared the early to current odds at 5Dimes (read post) and Betfair (read post).

In today's post, I'm going to concentrate on the market that is available from the Bwin Sportsbook.

The last time I tracked the Royal Rumble odds from this bookmaker was early in the summer. There have been a fair few changes since that time. I've noticed wrestlers' odds shortening, some drifting. There have also been new selections added to the board.

New Selections

There is a host of additional names that have made their way to the betting board. The most notable of the list is Braun Strowman.

The latest Wyatt member was brought up to the WWE roster in the months since the last checkpoint. He's currently available at 16/1.

Other names worth mention are Sting (33/1) as well as Tough Enough cast members Joshua Bredl (80/1) and ZZ Loupe (250/1).

Shortened Odds

There are four names whose odds have shortened in the period since I last checked. They are: Kevin Owens, Cesaro, John Cena and The Undertaker.

Drifting Odds

There are over a handful of wrestlers whose odds have drifted. The most notable are Seth Rollins (now 6/1). This makes sense as, the longer he remains WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the less likely he'll be in the battle royal.

Daniel Bryan has also gone out. This re-adjustment is possibly down to the question mark over whether he'll wrestle in a WWE ring again.

The biggest leap has been for Bray Wyatt. He had been available at 5s, but is now way out at 20/1.
