Roman Reigns Now A Short-Priced Favourite For WrestleMania 32 Title Match

Roman Reigns is now favourite to wrestle in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at next year's WrestleMania.

Earlier this year, the Paddy Power Sportsbook had opened up a market where its customers could place speculative punts on the person or persons who would compete in the major match on the April 3rd show.

Seth Rollins had topped the list with a price of 4/9. However, due to a knee injury suffered in Dublin last night, the wrestler has been forced to relinquish the WWE title and is expected to be out of action for up to nine months.

Roman Reigns had an early price of 6/5. It fell to 8/11 last week and is now available at 3/10.

Brock Lesnar is now a 5/6 second-favourite. He had been 13/8.

Other names whose odds have shortened are Dean Ambrose (6/5 to EVENS) and John Cena (6/5 from 7/5).

Rollins being ruled out of the WrestleMania season, let alone the title picture, has forced the Irish bookmaker to remove Rollins from this market and a Royal Rumble book.

A market where customers could wager on the ex-Shield members wrestling in a three-way at WrestleMania 32 has also been removed.

Odds correct as of 11pm GMT and taken from Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page,
