Royal Rumble Record & Final Four Betting

Earlier today, I published a number of Royal Rumble betting posts and didn't even manage to get through them all. Here are some more markets that I was unable to get through this afternoon. All of these markets can be found at 32Red.com, 888Sport.com or Unibet.com.

Records

As of the time of posting, the websites have three markets where customers can wager on Royal Rumble records being broken.

Total Eliminations
The first market is asking its customers to bet on Roman Reigns' elimination record being broken. The number to beat is the 12 men he threw out in 2014.

'Yes' is available at 7/1 and the 'No' is 1/20. It's priced correctly. In my opinion, this record will remain intact for quite some time.

Shortest Time
Santino Marella's 1.9 seconds in 2009 is the number to beat. The 'Yes' is 7/1 and the 'No' is 1/20. So, it has been chalked up as the above market.

Once again, I think this is safe for the time being.

Longest Time
Rey Mysterio's 1:02:12 from his 2006 winning year is the time to beat in this market. The oddsmakers have set the 'Yes, it will be broken' at 8/1 and the 'No' is 1/34.

I'm tempted to take the 'Yes'. Mysterio has now left the company, so they might want to wipe this feat from history by passing it on to somebody else. If I recall correctly, they did this in 1993. Ric Flair - who had the record from the previous year - was on his way back to WCW and they had Bob Backlund participate for a long time in the '93 match.
I can see there being some obstacles in the way of this being done, however. One example is the timing of the show itself. All it needs is to have one match go over its allotted time for the Royal Rumble match to be trimmed down.

Final Four

The three sportsbooks are now accepting wagers on wrestlers finishing in the final four of the Royal Rumble match.

Quite a list, eh? Brock Lesnar is a safe bet, but I am not going to take them. If I had to pick one name other than Lesnar, I'd have to choose Kevin Owens because of that rumour about him possibly facing Lesnar at WrestleMania. If this is going to happen, then they have to kick-start the feud in this match. Is 1/2 worth it, though?
