Bryan, Nakamura And Styles Added To Rumble Participation Board

The Betfair Sportsbook has added Daniel Bryan, Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles to its Royal Rumble participation market over at Betfair.com.

To be a winner in this market, all you have to do is back any of the wrestlers on the list who you think will be a participant in the January 24th battle royal.

The new additions have been priced:

Daniel Bryan 5/2
AJ Styles 5/4
Shinsuke Nakamura 13/2

In my opion, the wrestler with the better chance of the three is AJ Styles. He's a free agent having left New Japan Pro Wrestling a few days ago.

Daniel Bryan, as of the latest news, hasn't been cleared to wrestle by WWE doctors and Shinsuke Nakamura is likely to be still tied to NJPW until the latter part of January when his contract expires.

The special participation market was first published on Sunday. It can be found along with a host of other Royal Rumble outright and specials markets under 'Special Bets' at Betfair.com.

If you aren't a Betfair client, there's a banner below where you might be eligible for the latest new customer deals:

  1. It's been announced Sami and Joe are having a number 1 contenders match for NXT title on 22nd Jan in Orlando, Florida. Does this seem an easy bet for Sami to be in royal rumble on Betfair?

    1. Hi Jordan,

I don't see how they correlate.

If it was a match to win a place in the Royal Rumble, then it would be an easy bet. Not in this situation, though.

There very well could be NXT entrants, and Sami Zayn would make sense to be used to eliminate Kevin Owens, but it's far from an easy bet.

    2. The NXT event (2 days before the rumble) is in Orlando Florida just like where Royal Rumble is so he wouldn't have to travel far

    3. All of the NXT talent wouldn't have far to travel as they're all based out of that area.
