HHH's Prop Sledgehammered By Punters

Customers at Betfair.com have forced the sportsbook to cut a special WrestleMania 32 market following reports that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match will be contested under 'No Disqualification' rules.

The market in question is one where clients can wager on Triple H using a sledgehammer at any point during the pay-per-view broadcast. The odds opened at 10/3. It was eventually brought down to 2/1 before news of the stipulation started spreading yesterday evening.

The 2/1 was soon adjusted to 5/6 and is now resting at 2/5.

Of course, this doesn't mean anything unless HHH does use his trusty weapon on Sunday. I for one will be looking out for it as I was one of the punters who backed it when it was first installed.

The sledgehammer prop is one of many that have been written up by the traders in time for Sunday's show.

I aim to publish a post in a day or so where I'll go through everything on offer and see whether there has been any change in prices since they first went live. Until then, here are the specials that you'll find over there:

  • A Referee To Be Knocked Down In Any Match?
  • An RKO To Be Executed On The Night?
  • Conor McGregor To Be Named As Any Superstars' Opponent For WrestleMania 33
  • Either Shane Or Undertaker To Jump/Fall/Be Thrown From The Top Of The Cell
  • Appearance Odds (Read This Post!)
  • Quickest Elimination From The Battle Royal (Line Set At 10 Seconds)
  • Total German Suplexes Executed By Brock Lesnar (Line is 9.5)
  • Total Number Of Announcers' Tables To Be Broken On The Night (Line is 1.5)
  • Total Chokeslams Performed On The Night (Line is 6.5)
  • Total Number Of Finishing Moves Performed In The Battle Royal (Line is 1.5)
  • Total Number Of Ladders In The Ring At Any Time During IC Ladder Match (Line is 2.5)
  • Total Number Of Tables Broken On The Night (Line is 3.5)
  • Total Time Taken For Undertaker To Enter The Ring (Line is 5 minutes)
  • Which Match Will Be The Last Of The Night?
And that's just the props. The company has match markets for every bout scheduled for Sunday and is also offering a WrestleMania-themed promo for new customers. Follow this link to find out more.
