Looking Back Over The 'When Will Roman Reigns Drop The Title?' Odds

Earlier today, I went over a WWE betting market where customers can have a bet on the person who Roman Reigns drops the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to and pointed out that Seth Rollins has become the favourite to do so because he is now the number one contender.

After publishing the post, I decided to have a look over another market. This one allows customers to bet on when the current titleholder drops the title.

I last had a look at this market in a post published on Thursday April 7th. It has just been republished over at 888Sport.com. The image below shows how the odds have been readjusted between the day I wrote about them and now.

With Seth Rollins facing the titleholder at Money in the Bank in less than three weeks, the punters and oddsmakers are evidently looking for either of the top two options: 'Before or on Money in the Bank' or 'On Raw after MITB but before SummerSlam 2016'.

In April's post, I wrote 'of the six choices, the one I like the best is Between SummerSlam but before Survivor Series. I won't be wagering on it, though'.

I'm still leaning on that selection, but even more cautiously as I was nearly two months ago. Thank the announcement of a brand split for that. It should go without saying that I'm still not going to have a punt on it even though the odds have improved for that option.

The market is still up as of the time of publishing. It can be found under 'World Heavyweight Championship - After Roman Reigns' in the 'WWE' betting section of the following websites:

  1. This '#Hatch' thing WWE is doing. I think it might be getting Kurt Angle's Olympic GOLD Medal. Look at his recent Facebook post 3 hours ago.

    1. Can't see them doing anything with Kurt Angle unless it's something to do with the video game.

  2. Kurt Angle is 75/1 to be WWE champion at end of Wrestlemania 33 via 888sport etc. With Dead Heat rules and the brand split... too tempted not to have a small punt on

  5. Angle's Facebook thing was all to do with a match he's having with Cody Rhodes later on in the summer.
