In a little over a week from now, we'll know who this year's Mr. Money in the Bank will be. In fact, if things go the way they have been going lately, we could know sooner than this time next week. But, that's getting ahead of ourselves. As of right now, there are a handful of sports betting websites with outright winner odds for next week's ladder match. In this post, I'll run through all the names and guide you to where you'll find the better odds for each entrant.
Bray Wyatt
Okay, he isn't confirmed and I doubt he will be added at this late stage. However, he has teased he would be at this Monday's Raw, and he is still available to bet on. Therefore, I believe he's worth a mention until we know better.
He's 5/1 and can be found on websites like 888Sport.com, 32Red.com and Unibet.com.
Alberto Del Rio
One of the winners in 2011. He's the outsider with the longest odds. They start at around 14/1, but the best number can be found at bwin.com where he's 20/1.
Chris Jericho
Another outsider with biggish odds. Has never won, but has been in a couple and is credited with devising the concept of this match. I'm still of the belief that he is more than a dark horse based on how his odds moved overseas before the market closed. Plus, he's the only heel outside of Kevin Owens that I could see winning. This is if they decide to go with a bad guy winning. The best number is 14/1 with bwin.com. In contrast, he's 10/1 at Betfair.com, 32Red.com etc.
Sami Zayn
Zayn is in the middle of the pack in most books. The better odds on him winning can be found over at bwin.com where he's 14/1.
Cesaro
A win by the Swiss Superman will be more profitable for you if you take the... 6/1 everywhere.
Dean Ambrose
To be fair - of all the names on this list, I believe Dean Ambrose winning makes sense considering how the title picture is right now. He could insert himself into the main event program between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins and set up the dream match of The Shield facing each other in a triple threat match. Another route they could go is have him win the briefcase to set up a turn on Roman Reigns at a later point. Even though the two scenarios seem good on paper, I doubt this is how it will play out. The best price out there, as of the time of publishing, is 5/2. You can pick this up from 32Red.com, Unibet.com and 888Sport.com.
Kevin Owens
I have written many times within the past year - Kevin Owens is perfect to be this year's Mr. Money in the Bank. The oddsmakers and punters are evidently in agreement. The better price for him to win is the 73/100 from bwin.com. The only argument against an Owens victory is the same as to why I think he should win: he is the obvious choice.
