Seth Rollins Now 3/10 To Succeed Reigns As Champion

Seth Rollins is now 3/10 to succeed Roman Reigns as WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

The returning star - who will challenge the current titleholder for the title at next week's Money in the Bank show - has been one of the big movers in a market set up at 888Sport.com where clients can bet on the wrestler who claims the championship from Reigns.

Rollins was originally penciled in at odds of 5/1 (6th April). However, since returning to injury and being given the number one contender slot on the upcoming pay-per-view, the oddsmakers adjusted his price to 2/5 and have now cut it to the 3/10 he is today.

He isn't the only wrestler in this market to see a descent.

Brock Lesnar was originally 15/2 and had dropped to 7/2 between April and May. The descent has continued as he is now 5/2.

It's safe to presume The Beast's price has been reduced following the news that he is tentatively scheduled to return to WWE for SummerSlam following a detour to the Ultimate Fighting Championship for UFC 200 on July 9th.

If Lesnar is successful in defeating Mark Hunt in early July, I would not rule out WWE trying to capitalise on the buzz him going to UFC 200 has already created - and will increase by the time of the fight - by inserting him in a program with Roman Reigns for the summer event.

The final name on the list is Chris Jericho. He has now been moved into 17s but had fallen from 50/1 to 33/1 between April and May. Coincidentally, his odds to win this year's Money in the Bank had also fallen from a steep height at around the same time.

The selections that have improved since May 30th are:

AJ Styles from 8/1 to 10/1
Dean Ambrose from 8/1 to 10/1
Bray Wyatt 10/1 to 14/1
Randy Orton 14/1 to 17/1
John Cena 6/1 to 10/1
Kevin Owens 5/1 to 6/1

When this market is up, you'll be able to find it under 'World Heavyweight Championship - After Roman Reigns' in the 'WWE' sections of 888Sport.com, 32Red.com and Unibet.com.
