Punters who bet on WME/IMG to be the next owners of the Ultimate Fighting Championship will have a little longer to wait until their bets are graded.
PaddyPower.com has informed one of its customers that his wager will be settled once the sale is complete.
The wording of yesterday's press release announcing a $4 Billion dollar sale - even thought it states that the sports agency has acquired the UFC - does mention that the transaction is 'subject to customary closing conditions'.
Going by some of the business stories I have read this morning, this sale could take up to two months to be finalised meaning a while longer until the bets are settled.
