Owens 13/2 To Main Event Mania 33 Is Looking Good

Kevin Owens' odds to be in the main event of WrestleMania 33 are looking very good as of right now.

We're only a few hours removed from the episode of Raw which saw Owens claim the WWE Universal Championship in the main event. As of the time of posting, he's a 13/2 shot in Betfair's market where customers can bet on the wrestlers they believe will be in the final match on April's card.

Raw closed with Triple H assisting Kevin Owens by doing The Pedigree to Seth Rollins. This hints that the Rollins versus HHH match, that was originally scheduled for WrestleMania 32, is now back in play.

This obviously moves me away from the 'Finn Balor .vs. Seth Rollins' idea I have had for a number of weeks. If I were to make a prediction now - I'd guess we're going to see Balor taking on Owens for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania.

The market opened on April 9th. Back then, Kevin Owens was a 5/1 shot. His price had gone out to 13/2 a few days ago. I expect he'll end up becoming one of the favourites now that he's a titleholder that could potentially go all the way to Orlando.

Odds correct as of 7:30am BST. The market can be found under 'Special Bets' at Betfair.com.

  1. Just me thinking this could lead to a Seth rollins vs triple h wrestlemania main event? Although it could be a semi main event

    1. It wasn't going to be this year's main event, so can't see it being next year's.

    2. I can see them playing on this heavily though. Pedigree vs pedigree. Past vs present etc

    3. There are two major titles and more that should get priority over HHH vs Rollins

  2. Been able to get on this 3-4 times now , and odds are still the same!
