The list of names range from Roman Reigns (3/4) all the way down to Triple H (66/1). An option to bet on 'No Defeat Until After WrestleMania 33' has been priced at 6/4.
A few other names that caught my attention on this list were:
Bill Goldberg (6/1): If he and Lesnar ever lock-up again, Lesnar should be the guy winning. Firstly, because Goldberg owes him one from WrestleMania XX. Most importantly, Lesnar's loss should be at the hands of someone who can benefit from the victory and a regular roster member.
Samoa Joe (11/1): See that bit where I wrote about someone benefiting from beating Brock Lesnar? Well, Joe fits this ideology. I have bet on this.
Shane McMahon (11/1): I can't shake off the feeling that it'll be Shane O'Mac versus Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33. I also can't get rid of the thought they'll have Lesnar lose to McMahon. I have bet on this as well.
Randy Orton (25/1): With Lesnar .vs. Orton booked for an event in Chicago on the eve of Clash of Champions, I thought it was worth having a punt on Orton getting a win back. 25/1 seemed liked a good price, until I read the rules of the bet:
'Only outcomes which include a clear winner based on the match stipulations will be considered for settlement purposes. Disqualifications or no contest decisions will not count. Bets valid only for singles matches broadcast live on any WWE programming and which have been advertised at least 24 hours before the start of the event. Bets will remain valid regardless of eventual changes to match stipulations, character names, dates and/or locations given that the specified event is not moved more than a month back or forth from the listed month (where applicable). Bets placed after any announcement on any WWE/official social media platform will be declared void. No refunds on non-starters. Others on request.'
I've underlined the important bit regarding backing Orton. If WWE does want to give Orton his win back, it's likely it'll be in a screwy way. On top of that, the match is - as of right now - not going to air live.
The dates/timeframe odds are as follows:

There is no point betting into the first two selections because of Brock Lesnar's contract. It's unlikely that he'll be back on WWE TV until WrestleMania season. If I had to choose one of the five options, I'd probably go for the WrestleMania 33 loss.
These markets are found under 'Brock Lesnar WWE Specials' in the WWE Betting section of the Grosvenor Casinos website.
Orton 25/1 might be worth a small bet just in hope they do what they did with Roadblock. If it doesn't happen then, whoever he wrestles at WM I think will get the victory.
ReplyDeleteThat's Shane McMahon then!
