Balor Becomes Favourite In Paddy Power's 2017 Rumble Market And More

Finn Balor is now showing as PaddyPower.com''s favourite to win next year's WWE Royal Rumble.

The Irishman, who is currently on the sidelines due to injury, was originally third on the long list that was released last month. His price of 6/1 has now been cut into 10/3.

As a result, the two selections that were ahead of him on the board have drifted out. Seth Rollins has moved to 5/1 from 4s and Brock Lesnar's price has increased from 5/1 to 6/1.

Balor isn't the only name to have seen apparent action within the three week period as two other wrestling personalities have had their numbers cut.

Rusev has been backed from 50/1 into 33/1 and Shane McMahon's number has been halved after opening 100/1.

The oddsmakers have also added new names to their list. They are:

Shinsuke Nakamura 22/1
The Miz 22/1
Bobby Roode 22/1
Samoa Joe 25/1
Goldberg 33/1
Luke Harper 40/1
Braun Strowman 40/1
Kofi Kingston 40/1
Big E 40/1
Zack Ryder 50/1
Austin Aries 50/1
Kalisto 50/1
Tye Dillinger 60/1
Hideo Itami 60/1
Shelton Benjamin 90/1
Sin Cara 100/1
Goldust 125/1
Carly Colon (Carlito) 125/1
John Morrison 125/1

WWE announced last week that the 2017 Royal Rumble will take place from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. It will air on PPV and the WWE Network on January 29th.

Prices correct as of 5pm BST on Wednesday 12th October.
