Marc has just gotten in touch to tell me that Mike Johnson from PW Insider has reported that the main event of tonight's Hell in a Cell PPV will be Sasha Banks defending the WWE Raw Women's Championship against Charlotte.
Earlier today, I noted that I had bet on Kevin Owens versus Seth Rollins going last after Coral had published a prop market where customers can bet on the match that main events tonight's show.
As of the time of writing, the Sasha Banks versus Charlotte match is EVENS to go last. Next up is the aforementioned Universal Championship bout at 8/11 and the Roman Reigns versus Rusev battle for the US Title is 5/1.
Thanks to Marc for the tip.
The odds can be found alongisde other HIAC markets in the TV Specials page at Coral.co.uk
4:15pm GMT Update: The market has now been taken down.
Nia Jax appearance seems possible.
ReplyDeleteI dont think so.. it would be stupid for them to end first ever womes main event + hell in a cell with cheap finish.
DeleteAlso i think, if womens go last.. there would be no HHH
Agree on both.
DeleteFunny thing. I check wwe twitter and find Nia Jax message:
Delete"Excited for #HIAC tonight! Women making history! @MsCharlotteWWE reclaim your throne Queen! 👑 but don't get too comfortable 😉 #ExoticLevels"
That looks interesting that she sided with Flair
So if there's no cheap finish in the divas match, Sasha should win (sends the fans home happy/ends the night on a happy note that Sasha won in her home town and first to beat charlotte in singles at ppvs)
DeleteIf no HHH, perhaps owens will win clean or maybe Jericho will help (a heel win just before a big face win main event in Sasha)
And then theres the USA title match. I can see a switch of titles in this match personally especially since rusev hasn't won a match in 2 months. It would also mean 2 heel wins at HIAC matches before the 3rd and final face win
Also a heel siding with a heel isn't that interesting/out of the ordinary haha
DeleteJordan I ve just had the very same thinking ,and I got Rusev at 6/1
ReplyDeleteSame, it would be no surpise for me, if Rusev wins
DeleteOnly way I can see Rusev winning is through interference. Reigns is always booked strong
ReplyDeleteWhat about the fact that nobody knows who the clear Face/Heel is in this feud - if Roman loses, it gives the chance for the audience to sympathize with him, and gives the chance for Rusev to be a massive Ahole again
DeleteIn WWE's mind, Reigns is the babyface and Rusev is the heel. That's all that matters.
