5Dimes' HIAC 2016 Odds For Sunday Morning

There appears to have been a slight panic over 5Dimes Sportsbook's odds for tonight being taken down. As far as I'm aware, it was a simple mistake. If you look at screen captures that I used in other posts, you'll notice that the markets were scheduled to go down at 8pm ET. I noticed this when the markets were first installed, but assumed that a correction would have been made.

Not that it matters now. The odds have been republished. In this post, I'll go through each market, note what the current odds are and compare them with previous prices.

Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado and Sin Cara .vs. Tony Nese, Drew Gulak and Ariya Daivari

A market for this cruiserweight trios match was published yesterday evening. At the time they went live, the team with Cedric Alexander was -475. Their opponents were out at +325. The prices are still showing these numbers at this point.

Bayley .vs. Dana Brooke

This is another market that was installed yesterday evening. It's still showing the prices that were installed at that time. Bayley is -1350 and Dana Brooke is +650.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass .vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

Enzo and Cass opened at +400 on Friday. Their price is now down to +320 after dropping early yesterday evening. Their opponents opened as -600 faves. Gallows and Anderson remain chalk, but their price has drifted to -460.

The New Day .vs. Cesaro and Sheamus

This market opened with Cesaro and Sheamus out at +210. Within ninety minutes, they had been backed into -135 while the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions moved out from -290 to -105. The bets then came in on New Day as, by yesterday morning, they had been backed into -145 (Challengers went up to +105). The New Day have moved down from -145 to -260 overnight. Their opponents have jumped up to +180 from the +105.

TJ Perkins .vs. Brian Kendrick

Brian Kendrick opened as a -170 favourite while the WWE Cruiserweight Champion was +130. The wagers immediately came in on the challenger as his price shortened to -215 within the first ninety minutes. By yesterday morning, Kendrick was as short as -290. Perkins had jumped up to +210.

For some reason, the customers then sided with Perkins for a brief period as his number dipped to +170 while Kendrick's went the other way from the -290 to -230.

As of this morning, the customers have once again landed on Kendrick as his -230 has shortened to -400. On the other side of the board, Perkins is now +280 from +170.

Roman Reigns .vs. Rusev

This market hasn't changed since it was first installed. Reigns is -1500 to retain the US Championship. Rusev is +700 to regain it.

Sasha Banks .vs. Charlotte Flair

This one opened with Raw Women's Champion, Sasha Banks, a -1050 favourite. Her challenger was out at +550. The bets appear to have immediately came in on Charlotte as she was down to +150 ninety minutes later. As a result, Sasha's price moved up to -190.

Since then, it has all been Sasha. She was showing at -295 yesterday morning and has moved to -320 since then. Charlotte moved from +215 to +240 in the same period.

Kevin Owens .vs. Seth Rollins

This market opened with WWE Universal Champion, Kevin Owens, a -350 favourite and Seth Rollins out at +250.  It has been Owens all the way. His price has shortened to -1065 while Rollins' number has ascended to +555.

I have a feeling there's going to be an upset in at least one of the three Hell in a Cell cage matches. So far, all the champions are favourites to retain and I can't shake off the feeling that we're going to see a title switch in one of these bouts.

There have been rumours out there that Nia Jax might be involved in the finish of the ladies' match. If so, this should make Charlotte one to watch. There's also the possibility that Chris Jericho interrupts the Universal Championship match to assist Kevin Owens, but this 'help' could backfire.

It'll be interesting to see how things play out.

Odds correct at the time of publishing. The latest prices can be viewed under 'Other Sports' on the betting board at 5Dimes.com.
