Comment Bag : 29 November 2016

This comment/question came in from Eric:

After watching Raw, do you think it's still Chris Jericho that should be the leader in the betting markets? It looked like his friendship with Kevin Owens was turning downhill but then Owens said Jericho was still his best friend. Interesting, but it seems that we have the start to the end of their friendship.

My reply:

We've seen subtle hints teasing a split for a few weeks, but last night now has me thinking they're going back to what I originally thought they'd do - a match at the Royal Rumble.

With that said, there are still a lot of things that need to be asked: was last night's angle - and everything that happened afterwards - a set up to give Jericho time off? Was it to lead to Rollins versus Jericho at Roadblock (which is the most likely)? Is this leading to Jericho helping Owens in the Roadblock main event? Is Jericho going to return and cost Owens the title at Roadblock?

One thing I do know is that wasn't a proper pro wrestling break-up. Until I see more, I still have Jericho as the likely winner if the decision is made for a Raw representative to win the battle royal.

  1. If Jeri-Ko go on mania, then Rollins - HHH too

But what with Roman? Who do you think will be his oponent? Someone from SD?

    1. He's the only name I could think of that would fit. I'm still trying to work out what they'll do with Ambrose, AJ Styles (if he isn't champ) and Finn Balor (if Balor isn't the Rumble winner).

    2. Are those you just mentioned
Possible scenarios or a likely one.regarding styles and valor not winning the rumble.

    3. It's me trying to work out who they could be matched up with on the WrestleMania card.
