Stephanie McMahon Talks Ronda Rousey

Earlier today, I published a post where I wrote about the reports in this week's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE is looking to have Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor or Paige VanZant lined up to appear at WrestleMania 33.

Here's a mild hint on which of the three names it could be..

Stephanie McMahon happened to bump into a TMZ.com reporter. Funny how they always seem to be at the right place at the right time, isn't it?

When asked whether she would like Rousey in WWE, McMahon replied 'God, I certainly hope so.' She then joked that she has to get Rousey back after the WrestleMania 31 appearance where Stephanie was placed in an armbar by the fighter.

Stephanie laughed and noted that she 'will certainly try' to get Rousey into the fold.

It could simply be WWE trying to attach itself to a current story considering Rousey has been all over the media following her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week as she prepares for her return to the UFC at the end of the year. 

The story was published on the TMZ website at 7:45pm GMT this evening.

For what it's worth, Betfair.com is still showing Ronda at 5/2 to make an live in-person appearance at April's event. The market can be found under 'Special Bets' on the sportsbook menu.
