There's an interesting Royal Rumble 2017 prop that was requested by a SkyBet.com customer that I thought was worth a small punt.
The client has asked for 'Cesaro and Sheamus to be entrants 1 and 2 in the Royal Rumble match'. The odds that I took were 33/1. They have since been cut to 25/1.
Despite having a bet, I can't shake off the thought that Bill Goldberg will be brought out in the first or second spot just so they can do his entrance properly.
With that said, there will be a couple more times with Fast Lane and WrestleMania when they can get the entrance done, so missing out on the Rumble is no biggie.
Tag teams have drawn one and two before. The most memorable was in 1989 when Ax and Smash of Demolition drew one and two respectively.
This has now got me thinking - I wonder what price I could get on New Day drawing numbers 1, 2 and 3?

I'd like to think someone like The Miz will go first, and do a speech about being number 1 and winning it all and it doesn't matter who number 2 is etc and then someone like Goldberg comes out, or even Braun
ReplyDeleteBill Goldberg will enter Rumble after number 20, i think. They can do his entrance at any time. Just when his music hit everebody in the ring will stop and watch he enter Rumble (like with Taker in 2009)
