Hacksaw Still 4/1 To Enter The 2017 WWE Royal Rumble

A short while ago, I published a post where I made a few observations about Paddy Power's Royal Rumble entrant market. I noted that 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan's odds to be a participant in the battle royal had been halved to 2/1.

After publishing, I decided to look over at Betfair.com and have noticed that the sportsbook is still accepting him at 4s.

I mentioned in the previous post that I have been wagering on Hacksaw appearing in Rumbles for years and - so far - I have been unsuccessful. Duggan was the first-ever winner of the Royal Rumble back in 1988. I can understand why the Paddy Power customers have backed into the 4/1.

It's worth noting that WWE brought Duggan in unannounced for the 25th Royal Rumble in 2012 playing up to the fact that he was the original winner. It would not surprise me to see it done again, if he's in town.

At 4/1, I have now had a small punt on it.

Betfair's WWE Royal Rumble and WrestleMania market can be found under 'Special Bets' on the Betfair Website.
