Looking Back Over Coral's 'Who Will Eliminate Undertaker?' Market

There is a four way tie at the top of Coral.co.uk's market where customers can bet on who will eliminate The Undertaker from tonight's Royal Rumble.

The sportsbook opened betting earlier this month. At the time, the favourite to quash Undertaker's hopes of a 'Main Event Opportunity' was Samoa Joe at 2/1. He was closely followed by Braun Strowman at 3s. The reason why their odds were high was because - at the time - Undertaker was a 6/4 favourite to win the battle royal. Therefore, the 'Undertaker Wins' option was very much in play.

Shortly after Undertaker's outright price to win the match drifted out, I checked back in with the bookmaker and noticed that Finn Balor - who had been available at 10/1 over a week earlier - was cut to 4/1. I was told that over half of the bets that had been struck in this market had landed on the Irishman.

Now that we've reached the day of the show, I thought I'd check in again.

'Who Will Eliminate The Undertaker?'

The 'Any Other' option has been halved in that time. If I were to hazard a guess as to who the punters are choosing here, I think they're predicting that Roman Reigns will wind up with an entry in the battle royal following a loss to Kevin Owens in the Universal Championship match.

A WrestleMania match with Roman Reigns going up against The Undertaker has been one of the reported plans on the table for April 2nd, so tonight could be the night to start in that direction.

The market can be found alongside other WWE Royal Rumble betting odds in the TV Specials section of Coral.co.uk.
