Beth Phoenix And Victoria Have WrestleMania Appearance Prices Cut

It has been a little over a day since I published a post noting that Betfair.com had added Beth Phoenix to its WrestleMania 33 appearance market, so thought I'd do a short update.

The selection was 3/2 when it was installed and I mentioned that it could potentially end up being a winning bet because Phoenix's name has been floating around as a possible inductee in this year's Hall of Fame.

The selection was still 3/2 hours later, but when I checked in earlier today, it had been slashed to 2/5. It's still available at that price as of 8:40pm GMT this evening.

Another offering - Victoria - was added at 4/6. I had mentioned in other posts that she has been one of the former stars who had been contacted by WWE to do something over WrestleMania week. She was also backstage at the Smackdown house show in San Jose on Monday evening.

Victoria's odds have also been cut as they are now down to 1/3.

I don't think we'll have much longer to wait until we know whether Beth Phoenix will be in the class of 2017. WWE has been announcing names every Monday as per usual, so we'll get a better idea soon enough. I'm not so sure when, or if, we'll find out about Victoria's status until closer to the event.

    With Nakamura facing TJ Perkins at NXT tapings, does this increase his chance of having a Wrestlemania appearence?

    Hey , I saw your previous post of Styles, Harper prices

    Next week, they announced Styles vs Harper....If Orton vs Wyatt is still the plan , then do you think these things can happen

    1) Styles beats Harper and Orton changes his decision

    OR

    2) Harper beats Styles and it turns out to be Wyatt family Triple threat for WWE championship

    3) or do you think Shane comes out before the Styles vs Harper match and shows that battle royal footage and declares Harper as winner


    Is this angle more about Styles vs Shane or Harper into title picture

      I have written numerous times that I believe this is a set up for AJ versus Shane.

      I don't know. There's a chance that it's a three-way, but the early reports have stated the WWE Championship match would be a singles.

    I think it's still a one way otherwise, Harper could have won battle royal...Once they decided to go for a draw, I immediately thought this angle is more heading towards Styles - Shane than Harper in title picture

      My guess is they did the draw to drag the story out a bit. Wouldn't be surprised if they have another inconclusive result on Tuesday.
