Owens Is The Early Punters' Choice To Win At Fast Lane

Kevin Owens' odds to get a decision over Bill Goldberg have shortened in the two days that a market for the WWE Fast Lane 2017 main event has been available at PaddyPower.com.

When I first checked in two days ago, the current WWE Universal Champion was out at 11/2 while Goldberg was favoured with a price of 1/12.

A successful bet on Goldberg will now pay out at 1/5. Those looking for Owens can pick him up at 3/1.

With Goldberg set to face - and likely lose - to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33, it would make sense for Goldberg to enter the April 2nd battle without having endured a loss already. Therefore, I believe the punters are on the wrong side at this point.

Paddy Power's Fast Lane odds can be found alongside WrestleMania, Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber markets on the company's WWE Betting Page.

  1. Brock Lesnar to interfere in the match will make Goldberg still look strong I just don't see him winning the championship but if he does it will be because Jericho inadvertently cost Owens the title which sets them up for WM

    1. Brock Lesnar interfering would still mean Goldberg wins.

Goldberg should not lose before doing so against Lesnar.

There's also the reports that stated neither AJ Styles nor Kevin Owens would be entering Mania as champs.

    2. Brock can distract Goldberg or hit him with f5 while referee is down and also there were reports Reigns was going to win at the rumble and that didn't happen as well.

    3. I don't think the match will even get to the point where Brock can get involved or there being a spot for a referee to be knocked down, but we'll see.

    4. It would be dumb of Lesnar to cost Goldberg the title when he is facing him at wrestlemania. It would be in lesnars best intetest for goldberg to win the title so then lesnar can challenge for it at wrestlemania

    5. And theres the fact that Lesnar is not booked for Fastlane

    6. At this moment in WWE it wouldn't be a bad idea if Chris Jericho wins the title at WM he is the most over with the crowd even though he is a heel

    7. I agree about Jericho, but everything is pointing to the Universal match being between Lesnar and Goldberg.
