Corbin A MITB Favourite (Along With Zayn)

It didn't take long.

Baron Corbin has become a favourite to win this year's Money in the Bank ladder match in a market that was published on Paddy Power's WWE Betting Page earlier today.

Corbin, who shares the role along with Sami Zayn, was 5/1 when I was alerted to the market a little under an hour ago.

Zayn was 7/2 so his price has evidently declined as well.

AJ Styles - who was 2/1 to start off with - has drifted out to 7/2.

The new pricing is as follows:

Baron Corbin 11/4
Sami Zayn 11/4
Shinsuke Nakamura 7/2
AJ Styles 7/2
Kevin Owens 9/2
Dolph Ziggler 16/1

  1. Let's put this realistically (in my opinion!):

Dolph Ziggler - not a chance. No point, little momentum, better choices/storylines from other wrestlers winning.

Kevin Owens - Unless he drops the US title earlier on the night, he won't win this aswell. If a US title match gets announced and Kevin's opponent gets backed, I may back KO to win this.

AJ Styles - A decent chance to win it. A heel tends to win the MITB, and because AJ Styles is a very popular heel, it would be a great choice. Although he doesn't really need it (then again, neither did Cena!). But nothing fills me with excitement just knowing at any point his theme song could hit, run down to the ring, and cash in, and become the new WWE champion.

Shinsuke Nakamura - As cool as it would be, it probably won't happen. It's too soon, in my opinion. It would be better if he went into a feud with Kevin Owens and the US title instead after MITB.

Sami Zayn - Now, most people would say 'No Way!' but can you imagine if Sami actually pulled this off? It would be incredible. Although, personally, I don't think it will.

Baron Corbin - Corbin must be the go-to choice for most fans in this match. It makes sense - he's a big talent, and rising fast, he has the look of a champion... However, because he is the most 'predictable' I can't help but feel it won't be him... But I have no real reason to think otherwise.

Who I think will win it: Baron Corbin

    Least likely: Dolph Ziggler

    Underdog betting pick: AJ Styles

    What's everyone elses thoughts??

  2. If it's a heel - Corbin

    If it's a babyface - Zayn
