Joe Now Favourite To Win At Extreme Rules

Samoa Joe has moved into favouritism in Paddy Power's market for Sunday's main event.

As noted earlier today, the sportsbook opened a market this afternoon with Finn Balor favoured. Seth Rollins' price was cut almost instantly. It now appears as though Rollins' current nemesis has been the punters' choice to become the number one contender to Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship.

As you can see, Joe opened out at 3/1. He's now down to 17/10.

Rollins, who opened at 7/2 before being slashed into 15/8, is now a 12/5 second-favourite. Finn Balor has moved out from 15/8 to 7/2 with a brief stop at 3/1.

In the most recent post, I noted that I have backed Seth Rollins to get the victory. Samoa Joe versus Brock Lesnar is a match that I would like to see. As a bettor, I obviously want Rollins, but - as a fan - I wouldn't complain if it ends up being Joe.

  1. I'm a little surprised by this. I would assume fan money would land on Finn Balor. I suppose there's always time yet.

    1. Joe has been booked strong the past two weeks. If Rollins doesn't win on Sunday, that'll be the third straight TV loss.

    2. This is definitely fan money. Why would only one market move and not even that heavy?
