Kambi's Conqueror Markets Republished

In yesterday's post, I noted that I had received word that the oddsmakers from Kambi were planning to republish their WWE Conqueror markets by the end of the week. They have followed through with this promise by putting up the markets this afternoon.

When I noticed the websites once again had a plethora of WWE markets to look through, I immediately browsed through Conqureror markets to see how the prices have changed now that we know Braun Strowman is facing Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is up against John Cena at No Mercy.

In regards to the market where customers can have a bet on the person who next gets a pinfall or submission victory over Reigns -  the oddsmakers have surprisingly pushed John Cena out from the 1/2 he was in August up to 13/20.

I note that it's surprising because I thought they would have cut Cena's price considering - barring any Raw matches that have to be announced at least 24 hours beforehand - that he is next in line with a chance of conquering Reigns.

The Braun Strowman conqueror market has seen Brock Lesnar's price cut.

As of the time of writing, the WWE Universal Champion is a 7/20 favourite to get a result over The Monster Among Men. When I last checked in, the bookmakers had him at 3/4.

Lesnar has been declining since the market was installed.

As you can see in a copy of my spreadsheet, Lesnar opened at 2/1, but has been dropping ever since.

With Lesnar holding the WWE Universal Championship - and with the rumoured plan for the titleholder to take the strap all the way to WrestleMania 34  - it makes sense to see people backing Lesnar to be the next person to topple Strowman.

Sort of.

My gut instinct has me believing that we aren't going to see Strowman lose at No Mercy. I don't know how they'll get to it, but Lesnar retaining and Strowman not losing makes the most sense to me. I can't see Strowman being pinned or submitted in a little over two weeks unless they go with that passing out idea I thought they'd do with Samoa Joe at Great Balls of Fire. If this is the case, then the bet will be settled as a Lesnar win because the rules state that 'passing out' counts as a submission.

The market where customers can have a punt on the person who next scores a victory over Brock Lesnar has seen his No Mercy opponent slashed from 2/1 into EVENS.

Even though I've stated that I can't envision Strowman losing against Lesnar on September 24th, I also cannot picture 'The Beast' succumbing to Strowman. Despite this, I can understand why the odds have been cut. It's because Strowman is the upcoming opponent.

As I've written in previous posts, it looks very much like the Roman Reigns versus Brock Lesnar plan is still on for WrestleMania 34.

With this in mind, the odds for Roman Reigns to be the man who next overcomes the present Universal Champion at 1/2 might appeal to many considering the selection was 1/14 in late-July.

When available, these markets are available on the websites that publish betting odds from the Kambi Group. A couple of examples can be found below:
