Note About Kambi's WWE Odds And More

To try and shift WWELeaks.org back to covering WWE betting odds after yesterday morning's post, I thought I'd share something that I was told the other day.

A little over a week ago (maybe more), I got in touch with one of the sportsbooks that publish Kambi's WWE betting odds and asked when - or if -  the 'Road to WrestleMania' or 'Conquerer' markets will be republished. I was informed that they'd get back to me as soon as possible.

I usually wait until odds are live rather than build up  hope by announcing that 'they're coming on X date', but thought I'd share this reply. I was told 'these markets will be re-added on site later in the week'.

On the topic of Kambi, a friend showed me a market yesterday. I can't find it on the site as of the time of writing, but it was a special where customers could have a bet on 'Conor McGregor's Next Challenge'.

It was a list of unlikely selections. For example 'To Play A Competitive Tennis Match Against Roger Federer' before January 1st of 2019 was 100/1.

The one that I was initially shown was 'To Fight Against The Rock In A WWE Event'. This was 10/1.  It should go without saying that I don't think this will happen.

There were others on the board like running against Mo Farah in a 10,000m race (80/1), take a penalty against Joe Hart at Wembley Stadium (100/1), race Bradley Wiggins in a cycling event (100/1) and oppose Michael Phelps in a swimming event (50/1).

As noted, all highly unlikely unless a television company devises a programme titled 'McGregor .vs. The World' and - in each episode - the fighter has to take on athletes from other sports.

Yes, I'm fantasy booking the TV business now...

  1. McGregor Vs The World is something I would legit watch. That would be amazing. Send that idea out there somehow and ask for a cut of profits lmao!

    1. Haha, I know. It came to me half-way through writing the post and I've been chuckling at how I could see some producer pitching an idea like that to a network.

    2. You won't believe this, I just typed 'McGregor .vs. The World' on Twitter and noticed somebody tweeted him the very same idea seventeen hours ago. So she'll get the credit!
