Could Tomorrow's Steel Cage Match Settle The Reigns Conqueror Market?

On tomorrow night's episode of WWE Raw, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman will meet inside a steel cage. This could be where the 'Roman Reigns Conqueror' markets that had been available from the oddsmakers that publish betting markets from Kambi are settled.

I stress that this 'could' be where the markets are settled because, firstly - I don't know for sure if Strowman will get a pinfall or submission win over Reigns tomorrow.

There's also a slight shadow of a doubt cast on whether the match counts due to its stipulation.

When I found out that the match was taking place, I initially concluded that the bout was eligible for settlement. However, a couple of people have asked me whether it counts and I wanted to be certain before I wrote anything.

The rules state that bets are valid for 'single matches broadcast live on any WWE programming and which have been advertised at least 24 hours before the start of the event'.

The match was advertised over a day before it takes place, so that's covered. It's also a singles match despite it being contested within a steel cage.

As the stipulation has been a cause for concern, I contacted Unibet/Kambi on Friday for clarification. I have yet to get an official ruling.

This is only my opinion, but - to me - it ticks all the boxes.

With all that said, Strowman has to pin, force Reigns to submit or have the ref stop the bout and rule in favour of the Monster Among Men for any bets to be graded. The bout is technically a set up for the Shield's match against Strowman, The Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus for WWE TLC 2017. So, I believe there's a chance that Strowman gets the W to strengthen him up for the PPV.

They could also have either man walk away from the cage for the decision. This saves one of them having to 'lose' properly.

Hopefully, I'll get the much needed clarification before tomorrow night.
