I was 99% sure the bout would count. However, I had a couple of people ask me whether the steel cage stipulation would mean that it wouldn't. I noted in the post that I had asked for clarification and received the following back this morning:
My apologies for the initial delay, we had received a response for your query but late into the day yesterday and we were unable to get back to you.
Yesterday's match on Monday Night Raw is considered valid for the Roman Reigns Conqueror market since it has been advertised more than 24 hours before and the bet would be settled with Braun Strowman as the winner should the match end with Strowman winning via pinfall, submission or referee stoppage.
Given the steel cage match stipulations we can hereby inform that should Strowman win in any other way except the aforementioned pinfall, submission or ref stoppage (including escaping the cage), this will NOT result in the settlement of the bet, as per the rules present with the bet which we are listing for your perusal and exclude any outcomes which are not pinfall, submission and ref stoppage.
This confirmed what I had initially thought.
In last night's main event, Braun Strowman won the match by pinfall following an assist from Kane. Therefore, all bets have been settled with 'Braun Strowman' the conqueror and 'Before WrestleMania 34' as the 'Date of Next Defeat'.
I'll write another post later today where I look at how the betting went.
