Universal Champion After Brock Lesnar Odds Update

I had a look over the Kambi oddsmakers' betting markets where customers can have a bet on the person who becomes WWE Universal Champion after Brock Lesnar and the date of Lesnar's title loss when they were republished last weekend.

Here's an update where I point out how the Sunday's odds differed from September 10th.

WWE Universal Champion After Brock Lesnar Betting Odds

As you can see in the table above, there are three selections that have been cut and two that have increased.

The most obvious one to point out is Roman Reigns. He has been slashed from 1/2 into 1/7 and it is not a surprise considering the plan appears to be for Brock Lesnar to carry the Universal Championship to WrestleMania 34 where he will reportedly meet The Big Dog.

Samoa Joe moving in a tad from 5/1 to 9/2 is another one as is Finn Balor descending from 10s into 3/1.

Balor being cut coincided with reports of a potential Brock Lesnar match between the two at the Royal Rumble. If this is the case, then I assume the oddsmaker moved the Irishman down simply because of these reports.

If it is Balor vs Lesnar at the Rumble, I can't envision the latter losing with WrestleMania on the horizon.

The two names that have moved out are Lesnar's most recent opponent, Braun Strowman (EVS to 9/2), and John Cena (9/4 to 3/1).

With the Mercedes-Benz Superdome potentially being the venue where Lesnar drops the strap to Reigns, it wasn't surprising to notice that the odds for 'During WrestleMania 34' in the 'Date Listed Participant Loses Title' being slashed from 7/20 from 1/7 when I made note of the odds on Sunday.

The 'Mania 34' selection wasn't the only option to fall.

'During The Rumble' has been cut from 4/1 into 3/1 while the option to bet on the post-Mania episode of WWE Raw is now 5s from 13/2.

I was surprised to see 'Between Survivor Series But Before The 2018 WWE Royal Rumble' cut from 4/1 into 7/2 because Lesnar's match with Jinder Mahal, at the Survivor Series, is non-title and I don't think we'll see Lesnar wrestle again until the Rumble.
