Paddy Power's Survivor Series (2017) Odds Published

Paddy Power's WWE Survivor Series betting markets have been published.

Here are the prices as of this morning.

WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesanar, is 2/9 to get a decision over the WWE Champion - AJ Styles. A victory for Styles will pay out at 11/4.

US Champion - Baron Corbin - was 6/4 to overcome Intercontinental Champion, The Miz. However, his price has now been cut into 6/5. Miz has drifted from 1/2 to 8/13.

Alexa Bliss is 8/11 for her match against the new WWE Smackdown Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair (EVS).

The New Day opened 5/4 for their meeting with The Shield (4/7).

WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Usos, are 4/9 while their Raw counterparts - Sheamus and Cesaro - are 13/8.

Raw Ladies are 1/2 favourites to get a decision over Smackdown's females in the 5-on-5 elimination match. A successful bet on the blue team will pay out at 6/4.

The men's 5-on-5 market has opened with Team Raw 11/10 underdogs. The Smackdown squad is 4/6.

  1. Who do you think will be sole survivors

I think Balor might be sole survivor Because I think he is planned to face Lesnar at Royal Rumble and generally lesnar opponents are booked strongly

Asuka seems to be a easy decision on Women's side

    1. I don't think Balor is even going to be on the winning team, let alone be sole survivor.

The storyline makes more sense if Smackdown loses as it will allow Stephanie/Hunter to blame Kurt Angle.

      Asuka should be.

    2. Ohh yeah, it definitely builds towards Kurt vs HHH but I also thought Owens and Zayn might cost Team Smackdown

  2. I think the shield pretty much have to win due to reigns getting ill and his first match back, and first 'proper' shield match again etc..

I think team Smackdown will win due to Jason Jordan getting Triple H eliminated. This could help build up Angle Vs Triple H at Wrestlemania (if that's what they are planning).

I feel Carmella is cashing in on the night, I can't imagine any other reason for a face to win the championship just before the PPV for any other reason.. so Alexa to win and Carmella to cash in.

I feel the raw ladies need to win if the Smackdown men are winning.

The Miz should go over Baron Corbin.

And I agree with you with Jinder possibly ruining AJs chance. They've kept Jinder off TV this week for a reason me thinks.

    1. We've seen The Shield's return on Monday night. I've bet on them to defeat New Day, but it isn't a sure thing in my opinion because they've already given us their first match and win.

      I agree about Team Smackdown.

I don't think Carmella cashes in. Any other weekend and I might agree, but - next week - is the Starrcade house show from Greensboro and I'd like think they'd have Charlotte there as champion.

As for putting the title on a babyface, it's because the dynamic was messed up. There were too many heel vs heel matches on the card, so they had to switch things up.

      Agree about Raw Ladies.

      I've bet on Corbin.

    2. Ahh I didn't realise about the house show. Interesting...

But I do feel like Carmella needs to cash in soon. Her character is going to become more dull now with James gone...

But yeah Alexa still needs to remain strong all the way up to whenever she faces Asuka.. not that anything will stop Asuka from taking the title though, lol...

I just felt like reigns and shield were robbed of their big moment at TLC so they will get it this Sunday

    3. I agree about Carmella and do think it will be soon. I could even be wrong and they do have her cash-in on Sunday, but Charlotte not being champ for next week would be short-sighted imo.

    4. I think Carmella will cash in at clash of champions

But If Smackdown wins, doesn't thar mean Kurt will be fired. It will be interesting to see how they build up towards HHH vs Angle and also Jordan migt play key role here

  3. Charlotte should win. Alexa always win in championship matches and lose in mathes with no sense. Only if Natalya cost Charlotte victory Alexa has a chance.

    I like Corbin odds too.

And The Shield is 100% victory common. They should be 1/10 from start.

  4. It's pretty obvious, in my opinion:

Lesnar, Raw ladies (Asuka), Shield should all be locks (Raw 3:0 Smackdown). Therefore Corbin, Charlotte and Usos have to win to even scores out before the Main Event which will be the deciding factor concerning Brand Supremacy.

And because of HHH vs. Angle at Mania, SD should win the Main Event.

    1. I think Brock vs AJ will be the main event since Lesnar matches always go last

    2. I think the elimination match has to go last.

      It would be anti-climatic otherwise.

      Delete
    3. That's true, I too hope Elimination match goes last but Brock Lesnar matches always go last especially when he is a Champion and a Champion vs Champion match is a bigger match in kayfabe

      Delete
    4. In kayfabe, the elimination match has been the most promoted and has more ramifications than a match between two titleholders with neither strap on the line.

      Delete
    5. You're right but it's Brock Lesnar. His matches mostly go last

But again, I hope Elimination match is the main event Because another predictable single F5 Lesnar victory shouldn't close the show

      Delete
    6. Abraham, would you have stated the same if Jinder Mahal was in the match?

      Delete
    7. I think AJ vs Lesnar will be last. Its champion vs champion after all

      Delete
  5. Definitely not. That would have been tye worst Brock Lesnar match in a long time

Styles vs lesnar is a far better match but survivor series is always known for unpredictable endings but Lesnar ending the show with a predictable F5 would be lame

    1. So you aren't basing your argument on champion versus champion, but rather AJ Styles?

      Delete
    2. I am not saying Lesnar vs AJ should main event, bur I somehow think it will main event since it's a much bigger match on paper

But hey, I also want survivor series Elimination match to close the show

      Delete
    3. Survivor series is mainly about the elimination match. Too many big names in it for it to not go last in my opinion... Kurt... Shane.. triple H.. and some of the biggest stars on main rosters.

      Delete
    4. Yeah, I do want Elimination match to be main event since it's unpredictable

But i have this feeling that once again a Brock Lesnar match will main event the PPV

      Delete
  6. But hey, do you see Asuka getting counted out and Paige Returning as 5th member and sole survivor for Smackdown

    ReplyDelete

    1. It wouldn't surprise me if they did go with Asuka being eliminated by count-out or DQ.

The 5th member could be Paige. However, Dave Meltzer said on today's WOR that he was told it'll be Natalya.

Another name that somebody who emailed Wrestling Observer Live brought up was Nikki Bella. I liked that idea because it could play into last year's match where Nikki couldn't compete and Natalya took her spot.

      Delete
    2. Want to clarify that even though I stated that it wouldn't surprise me if they had Asuka eliminated by CO/DQ, it doesn't mean I think they should do it.

      Delete
  7. Nikki makes sense if she attacks Natalya backstage just like how Natalya attacked Nikki last year at Survivor Series

But if Natalya is 5th member, then Raw is guaranteed winner

But if they add Paige, I mean they can still have Asuka as sole survivor for Raw but I wouldn't be surprised if Paige is sole survivor

Also, Charlotte beating Alexa isn't 100 % to me, I can also see a DQ finish with Natalya attacking Charlotte or even a Alexa bliss victory. Who knows, Alexa has been booked strongly for months now

I mean they can definitely tell lots of Different stories on Sunday

  8. Dave, Alexa vs Charlotte - where's your money?

  9. My predictions:

Lesnar cannot lose before facing Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. He will beat AJ Styles clean with one F5, which they are developing into a killshot so it's shocking when Roman Reigns kicks out of it (it won't be shocking, of course, but that's the story they're going with). I also predict the match will go on last. Brock Lesnar hasn't gone before the main event on any non-WrestleMania PPV in nearly three years, and I don't see that changing here. If there's a special on which match will main event and the odds are good, I will bet on Lesnar over the 5-on-5.

I see Raw taking the night 4-3 but losing the men's 5-on-5, furthering tension between Kurt Angle and Triple H/Stephanie McMahon but keeping Angle in place for now, considering it's too far from WrestleMania for a major story beat just yet. Shinsuke Nakamura will survive for SmackDown by last pinning Samoa Joe, setting up his push to winning the Royal Rumble.

WIth Raw needing three wins and SD needing two, I predict:
    - Asuka will survive to win for the Raw women
    - The Miz will defeat Baron Corbin with a banana peel roll-up
    - The Shield will beat the New Day in a Match of the Year Candidate
    - The Usos will beat the Bar in another Match of the Year Candidate
    - Charlotte will tap out Alexa Bliss

The only match where I anticipate interference is the men's 5 on 5, which I expect will exceed an hour in length.

    1. It's good to see you caught on with the F5 thing. I think that's what will happen too.

It's also good to see you've missed something else I've noticed and will reveal when other sportsbooks' odds are out. Sorry for the tease, but you'll see why by Sunday.

    2. Hmmmm intriguing! Love a good tease.

    3. It could be me reading too much into something, but I'd like to see more sportsbooks odds out before I explain.

    4. They aren't gonna have WWE champion getting pinned clean. Pretty sure Mahal will interfere here
