I wrote about the market being republished yesterday following a report - in this week's issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter - that mentioned WWE had plans for John Cena that were bigger than a WWE Championship match against AJ Styles. Dave Meltzer mentioned four names - Undertaker, Batista, Hulk Hogan and Goldberg - but an opportunity to have a punt on a match featuring the former WWE Universal Champion was a conspicuous absence.
'Bill Goldberg .vs. John Cena' has been installed at odds of 12/1.
Anyone who believes that AJ Styles .vs. Shinsuke Nakamura will take place at Mania - and, most importantly, main event the show - can now find this selection at 12/1. It was 10s yesterday.
Another odds note is that the traders have cut 'John Cena .vs. Kevin Owens' from 10/1 into 8/1 since last night's post. As I wrote in the first post of today, I guess this may have been a reaction from a punter, or punters, who believe that Owens will win the WWE Championship from AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble and then they somehow get John Cena to challenge for the title at Mania.
