The market has been available - on and off - since early November. However, with the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reporting that Cena is being lined up for a huge match on April 8th, I was intrigued to see whether the traders added new names to the list.
They have.
In Dave Meltzer's report, he mentioned that he could think of four names that would pass as being bigger than a WWE Championship match. They were The Undertaker, Batista, Bill Goldberg and Hulk Hogan.
The Undertaker has been available on the sites since the market was first priced up. However, the odds have now dipped from 5/2 into 2/1.
Batista has been installed at 4/1, Bill Goldberg at 13/2 and Hulk Hogan is 33s.
The article states that we should get a better idea of WrestleMania plans during the Raw 25th Anniversary Show at the end of January.
It's worth noting that The Undertaker is scheduled to appear at this event.
Kevin Owens - who will likely challenge for the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble - has had his price cut from 13/2 to 5/2. I suppose this might be due to a customer - or customers - thinking that Owens will be WWE Champion coming out of the Rumble and having Cena challenge for the strap at Mania. This would contradict everything that was reported yesterday about Cena being in a bigger match than against the WWE Champion.
