Road To WrestleMania 35 Update For June 28th

Here's an update about the three 'Road to WrestleMania 35' Kambi markets where customers can place wagers on the times when John Cena, Daniel Bryan or Ronda Rousey next wins a major title in WWE between the time of the bet being placed and to the end of WrestleMania 35.

With 'Before or During Money in the Bank' now expiring, all three of these specials have been adjusted. I looked through each market yesterday and today. Here's what I've found.

John Cena Road to WrestleMania 35 Betting

As you can see with the market for John Cena to win either the WWE or Universal Championship - his odds to do so at SummerSlam (4/1 to 3/1), in the period after SummerSlam (5/1 to 17/4) and 'During WrestleMania' (9/10 from 19/20) have been snipped.

Whenever the day comes, and it will come, the match will be on a big event like a WrestleMania or SummerSlam due to it being classed, in WWE revisionist history, as a record-breaking feat of seventeen world titles.

Daniel Bryan Road to WrestleMania 35 Betting

Unlike Cena, Daniel Bryan is tied to the Smackdown brand so his chance of winning either of the major titles is limited to AJ Styles' WWE Championship (for the time being at least). Odds for Bryan to win the strap at SummerSlam have dipped from 5/4 into 11/10. The oddsmakers have also cut the odds for the 'Between Day After SummerSlam, But Before Survivor Series' option as it has lowered from 8/1 into 6s.

A win at WrestleMania will now pay out at 4/6. It was slightly higher for weeks after falling from EVS into 17/20 in May.

I am not surprised to see this selection coming in considering Bryan is a favourite to win the 2019 WWE Royal Rumble where the victor gets to choose to go for either the WWE or Universal Championship.

Ronda Rousey Road to WrestleMania 35 Betting

Ronda Rousey's Road to WrestleMania market has been the most active of the three athletes. This is because she was pushed into the title picture weeks after winning her debut match at WrestleMania 34.

I fully expect Ronda to win the strap somewhere on the Road to WrestleMania. I initially thought she would so so at Mania 35, but she has failed to win the strap once already and WWE could potentially ruin things if she doesn't do so on her next attempt. I guess one way to get around it is to have Ronda cost Alexa Bliss the title at Extreme Rules, so they can segue to Ronda .vs. Bliss at SummerSlam with the title not being on the line. Or just do it and let Ronda win the strap on August 19th.

With all the ways this could go, the odds for Rousey to be the champ at any point from the bet being struck all the way to the close of Mania have been adjusted by bookies with the idea that she will become a champ sometime within the next few months. Every single selection - other than the 'No Title Win' option - is showing shorter odds than weeks ago. Everyone is expecting the change.

It's a matter of when.
